Top 5 wanted Mcfarlane DC Multiverse Absolute Power figures

Many of DC's events of recent years have been a bit hit or miss, with storylines such as Batman vs Robin and Lazarus Planet not quite scratching the itch for a great big DC storyline; however, Beast World seemed to be things on a right track and the recent Absolute Power and its associated supplemental material were a great read. It brought together a lot of recent villains from the DC universe, showcased our heroes across the globe at their most vulnerable, and overall provided for a storyline I had a great time reading throughout. While Mcfarlane's DC Multiverse line hasn't been focusing as much on modern comics as they were at the start of the line I still hope to see some representation from this storyline sometime next year, with these being my top 5 picks for what I want to see!

5. Amanda Waller

While it would not be the most exciting figure in the line it would certainly be a big character in the DC mythos that would easily be slottable into any Suicide Squad display. She has had a few looks over the years, any of which would be welcome to bring Amanda Waller into the display, especially with her leading the Absolute Power event.

4. Task Force VII

Waller had her own army of enforcers behind her during Absolute Power, and foremost among them were her unique Amazos that went across the planet absorbing powers from the metahuman masses. There is a whole host of awesome robotic designs amongst this group which would instantly make memorable action figure in the line, and while they aren't as popular as the Dark Knights were I could see this group being another very popular line up to put together.

3. Failsafe and the Brainiac Queen

At the forefront of her generals Waller had Failsafe and Brainiac Queen who had been built up in prior DC events before all converging for her ultimate takeover. As a member of the Batman mythos and a pretty substantial character of recent events Failsafe's likelihood at being a hit in the line is undeniable, and despite the new plethora of classic offerings the line is yielding we're still getting our healthy helping of modern designs between the Superbat fusion and Neo Batman Beyond. Brainiac Queen is another robotic character put to use by Waller whose design would similarly make for an absolute epic figure in the line.

2. Justice League

I remember the designs for the Justice League being unveiled and being very impressed by what I was seeing. Flash is amongst my favorite of these designs (it is very hard to make a Flash design that doesn't look cool), with Wonder Woman wearing a cool variation of her design (with which she had an entertaining jaunt with Damien Wayne), and Batman will always be a popular choice.

1. Green Arrow

Out of the whole event one of the standouts ended up being Green Arrow's side of things. Appearing as another enforcer on Waller's side turning on his friends and families, it turned out to all be a secretly laid plan by Ollie to go deep under cover and infiltrate Waller's operation. Seeing him go up against the rest of the Arrow family was a great showcase for his entire supporting cast, with his ultimate disagreement with the rest of the Justice League over the actions he took being a great way to differentiate the kind of hero he is and what lengths he will go to save the day and do what he thinks is right.
