Top 5 wanted Blokees Classic Version-L Kanto (Red/Blue) Pokemon

Blokees line of Pokemon figures aren't just relegated to the smaller scale Pokemon, but we have been seeing a constant stream of larger scale Pokemon produced as well in each wave. I have been loving what I've been seeing with all the model kits thus far being very faithful recreations of the game designs with exciting effect pieces and in some cases even swappable parts like Snorlax's multiple face options! With wave 3 of the Classic Version-S figures just revealed I am wagering it won't be long until the "Fever Attack" wave reveals its Classic Version-L set of four model kits, and with Kanto being undoubtedly the most popular region out there for Pokemon I'm highlighting it first for my top five most wanted Blokees Classic Version-L model kits!

5. Blastoise and Venusaur

These two are two of the most obvious options, and I'm surprised neither were in wave 2, especially with both Bulbasaur and Squirtle appearing in that wave's smaller assortment. Starter Pokemon will always be a popular choice amongst fans, especially when it comes to the original trio, and I personally would love to see these two checked off in the line with Venusaur's plume in particular lending itself towards a fun build structure.

4. Hypno

While probably not as likely as the two before it, Hypno is a Pokemon I've always found really compelling in the Pokemon universe, mainly due to its inherent creepiness and the disturbing lore before it! It really highlights the dark side to the Pokemon world, and I've even seen fan-made shorts on Youtube revolving around this Pokemon and its hostile tendencies! Pokemon trainers are doing the whole world a justice by capturing and training these guys, keeping them off the streets!

3. Kabutops

Fossil Pokemon are ones I've always had a fixation about, and I'm still petitioning to one day receive a Pokemon game set during prehistoric times in which these Pokemon roamed! Kabutops still ranks as amongst my top favorite fossil Pokemon of all time, and given how well Scyther has turned out I believe that Kabutops could be another contender for well articulated entry to the line.

2. Nidoking

I'm not sure what it is about Nidoking that appeals to me so much, but just looking at this guy he looks so cool. I love the purple, and the fierce armored look that always has me jumping to put this Mon on my team whenever I go for a playthrough of Kanto. While I doubt it would be the most dynamic of builds for the Blokees line it would still turn out as one of the coolest.

1. Alakazam

This was one that I was sure we were going to get from Mega Construx for years, but then it never came. Alakazam is easily one of the most popular Kanto Pokemon of all time, and one of the most sought after psychic types from the series. His incredible design and the elusiveness of the pre-evolution, Abra, go a long way towards this, and with this Pokemon's lankier design it lends itself to plenty of articulation in the model kit! Blokees can finally do what Mega Construx didn't and give us one of Kanto's best Pokemon!
