Jazwares' Epic scale Pokemon figures are few and far between but very fun nonetheless and the latest release is no different with the epic Golurk! There's so many larger than life Pokemon that would fit into this scale who deserve new figure releases, and I'm frankly shocked we don't get more of these every year! Here's hoping the upcoming release of Winds and Waves churns more life into the line, because there's
so many Pokemon I want immediately!
5. Ho-Oh
We got Lugia several years ago at this point, and rumor has it we are even getting a 6 inch scale Selects Lugia release! Lugia's generational counterpart is long overdue for a figure, and the multicolor appearance of Ho-Oh's feathers would looks amazing as a wide wingspanned epic scale figure! Especially as we got the Legendary Beasts several years ago at this point too, leaving Pokemon Silver and Gold as long overdue for their obvious companion piece.
4. Onix and Steelix
As with most Pokemon related merchandise, Kanto has been a large brunt of the Epic scale line, and one that certainly deserves to be made at this scale would be Onix. With Gyrados we already have an idea of how he could be approached, and this super iconic rock snake from the original generation 1 is one that fans would be clamoring for. I am also a very big fan of his evolution's design, Steelix, with the more pronounced jar, the intermittent spikes along the body, and its short role in the underrated Pokemon Rangers videogame!
3. Regigigas
Another legendary Pokemon, and given how Pokemon the legendary Pokemon are I'm surprised we haven't gotten more of them throughout the years! Regigigas is an absolute behemoth and the epic scale is the only rightful place for him to be produced in. The lore behind him and his appearance in the games were always some of my favorite components of the Pokemon universe, the Regi group in general being some of my all time favorites, and Regigigas would be very welcome in the line.
2. Wailord
If ever there is a Pokemon fitting of the largest scale that the toyline has, it would be this. Wailord has been my favorite Pokemon for a long time, and getting it in Jazwares' line of Pokemon figures would be an absolute dream. They gotta make it as large as possible, really fill out the box, and heck, go ahead and make it a massive travel case for the Pokemon figures if that's another avenue to give us an even bigger Wailord figure!
1. Kyogre and Groudon
Hoenn reigns for the top two spots on my list, with the prominant legendary duo coming in first for my most wanted epic scale Pokemon figures from Jazwares! Ruby and Sapphire were the games I grew up on, making them extremely nostalgic for me, and their designs are just so good as representatives of the land and the sea. Groudon out of the two has always been my absolute top favorite, though Kyogre has definitely grown on me over the years (as a child I had Ruby and my brother had Sapphire, definitely leading to a 'me vs him' mentality when it came to the generation and its two releases). With Rayquaza released near the start of the line, and rereleased several times since then, the stage is set for Groudon and Kyogre to join the line, and I hope it is soon!
