Nakamo

Unlike almost every other Pokemon generation, I have never really played the Johto region games. I started at Firered and Leafgreen and so I missed Gold and Silver, and then when the remakes of those games came out I never got around to picking them up. I can't say I have a true Johto player in that regard, but I have gotten plenty of exposure to the Pokemon from that region from all of the other games, from the Sevii isles in Firered and Leafgreen, to the Pokemon Colosseum games, and just random Johto Pokemon being placed throughout all the games. Plently of the Pokemon from this region stick out to me, and so naturally there are some that I want to have in brick form from Mega Construx's line of Pokemon sets. When is a bad thing ever only a bad thing? There are times when something bad isn't only such, and nothing makes me think about that more than the word "Melancholy", my favorite word, because it means bad but it sounds so good. Whenever something bad happens to somebody they always think that nothing good can possibly come out of it, that they cannot find happiness out of some tragic accident but that is not always the case. The word Melancholy is defined as "A feeling of pensive sadness, typically with no obvious cause," which makes the word mean bad, it's used to described bad flings, but the word itself sounds beautiful to me. Something that means bad is actually beautiful and feels good to say, relaxing and pleasant to hear it roll off your tongue and hum in your ear with it's soft vowels. I have seen countless times people claiming that Anakin had no reason to turn to the dark side in the Star Wars prequels and that when it happened it was rushed and forced without any real reason behind it. I am here to put that claim to rest and explain how it is not true. There were several influences throughout Anakin's life that helped the dark side grow within him, from the circumstances to his life, events that transpired with him, and even his own feelings growing up; all of these were factors towards his eventual rejection of the light side of the Jedi. His turn to darkness could not make more sense after seeing and understanding what he went through. The life that Anakin Skywalker grew up with was from the very start oppressive, being the son of a slave and as a byproduct of that was also a slave himself. I've made it known in previous entries that I was a big fan of the most recent Star Wars flick, Solo, and so naturally given that I am also into toys and action figures, another thing that has been seen on this blog, I only thought it best to go over the top five Black Series figures that I want from the Solo lineup of characters. Recent leaks have covered many characters not in the initial figure release that I wished to see, such as Enfys Nest, Val, and L337, but there are still plenty of characters that will be missing from my shelf and five of those characters will be featured here. Oh, trust me, I was there on opening night thursday to see this movie, and this review would've been out the same night but I had work and other responsibilites to get to, but now I'm here! Not even a year after the last Star Wars released we are already blessed with another Star Wars movie on the big screen. This one has not been as hotly anticipated by fans as some of the other recent movies, but for me, Solo was a movie I was really looking forward too and I am glad to say that I was not disappointed by the film! And with that final episode, season four of The Flash has come to a close on a stellar season that really raised the level of content on the show. No more sloppy story telling like when it came to Zoom and Savitar, no big deviations from the plot of the season, season four was focused, linear, and worked in a clear line towards the finale dealing with Devoe. It truly felt like the season finale too, which is something I feel the past two season have been unable to capture, so without further ado, lets look into the season finale of Flash's season four. It began by giving us the return of the police captain, long time no see, as he is getting ready to let Barry over the phone know that he will be getting his job back. Then the Enlightenment hits, power goes out all over the city and a purple wash of light baths itself across the Earth, emitting from the satellites Devoe launched. When Deadpool 1 hit theaters it is safe to say that it made a sizable splash in the superhero genre and swore its way into the hearts of fans everywhere, and while some may disagree with me, the movie may have been very different from those before it, but Deadpool 1 wasn't the best film. It was bogged down by too much Wade Wilson and not enough Deadpool, and relied on raunchiness and gore to differentiate itself instead of the trademarked fourth wall breaking humor. Suffice to say, Deadpool 2 remedied that all for me, with a movie that rarely takes Deadpool out of the suit, gives a complex story filled with surprising heart, and crams more fourth wall gags than you could count. Deadpool 2 is a blast to watch, and here is a OBLIGATORY SPOILER WARNING  before we continue.
