5 Random Villains I want to see in Mcfarlane's DC Multiverse line

Image
(Images Source) While the heroes are pretty cool, the villain side of things has always housed some of my favorite characters and designs in DC Comics which is probably why projects like Suicide Squad appeal to me so much. Mcfarlane's DC Multiverse line from the start has been generous with villain figures throughout the run so far; however, as of late they've been dipping into quite obscure and random villains which I am more than ecstatic about! I was not expecting at all to be getting figures of Sportsmaster, Hugo Strange as Batman, or Dr. Tyme of all people! While Platinum figures are a hassle and a headache to track down there's no doubting that the spectrum of characters we can see released has certainly been opened up. From Blackfire to Effigy to Manhunters we are seeing all kinds of villains slotted into the line so far, and with this list I'm just going to ramble on about five random villains I'd like to see in the line! Top 5 favorite reveals from the 2024 Tamashii Nations events

Image
(Images Source) Honorable Mention: Stardust dragon and Yugi tease I haven't jumped into the Yu-Gi-Oh line quite yet but the reveals and releases so far have all looked stellar and invoked a lot of nostalgia from my childhood. The event revealed the Stardust Dragon which is from an era of the franchise I am not familiar with but I can't deny how savage this design is and how beautiful the combination of blue and silver is with the purple highlights on the chest and shoulders. Not only this but they teased the first duelist in the line with Yugi himself which is a long time coming given how many duel monsters have been put out.  1. Harry Potter I was of the mind that the Harry Potter line was dead after the Malfoy figure never materialized and the line halted with no new news for a few years at this point. Tamashii is coming back swinging however with two spectacular looking releases in a Triwizard Goblet of Fire Harry and a magnificent looking dark lord of the wizarding world hi...

Top 5 most wanted DC Multiverse Infinity Inc. figures

Image
(Images Source) With Mcfarlane leaping more and more into the Justice Society side of things, and the recent victory of Jade for the NYCC fan-vote securing her a figure release in 2025, my eye is more and more on one of my favorite sides of the DC Universe. Infinity Inc was a fantastic spinoff from the JSA featuring a lot of their children taking up superhero mantles, and is rich with designs and characters I sorely hope to see delved into as this focus on classic DC continues to ramp up. 5. Helix What I consider to be the nemesis of Infinity Inc would be Helix, a supervillain team of improperly raised metahumans that showed up multiple times throughout the line's run to cause a headache for the heroes. Mr. Bones is most obviously the one I'd want most from the group, and likely the most probable one to be made as well given his continued popularity through the years.  4. Injustice Unlimited The Injustice Society has been one of my favorite supervillain comics teams and Infinit...

Top 5 wanted Justice Society characters in Mcfarlane's DC Multiverse vol 2

Image
(Banner Images Source)   (Following Images Source) A Rebirth era Cyborg has been released and it seems that with the official general line up of a modern Justice League being completed the flood gates have opened for the Justice Society which I am more than thrilled about! We had gotten central figures before like Alan Scott, Jay Garrick, and The Spectre, but recent years and very recent reveals have given us more iconic members of this team like a classic Hawman, Mr. Terrific, Wildcat, and Commander Steel (though I'm utilizing him as the Citizen Steel version). Not only that, but Huntress and Power Girl both make nice additions to the JSA display, as well as to the New 52 Earth 2 display along with Val Zod. With the Justice Society more and more present in the line this is my updated wishlist from America's first superhero team! Honorable Mention: Superman (Kingdom Come) Coming in at an honorable mention will be Kingdom Come Superman who was a temporary but memorable member of...

Top 5 most wanted Transformers Studio Series Autobots vol 4

Image
(Images Source) Tagging along from my recent post talking about my latest most wanted Studio Series Decepticon figures I am now going to delve into the Autobot side of things. Hasbro's Transformers line has been running for several years now with dozens upon dozens of characters and designs under its belt and frankly putting together these lists is becoming more like lists of what characters are remaining to be made at this point! With each new movie release the list grows though, and recent additions like the War for Cybertron videogame as a source of figures means that Studio Series won't be losing steam anytime soon. With my previous big wants like G1 Brawn, Que, and Crosshairs finally brought to the line these next slots are where my sights are set next! Honorable mention: Windcharger and Ramhorn The G1 side of Studio Series is very nearly coming to a close as almost every character seen in that film has either been released in Studio Series proper or given accompanying G1 ...
