Top Favorite Reveals from SDCC 2025

Image
SDCC 2025 has come and gone with  numerous reveals from toy companies going as hard as ever. With reveals from Hasbro, Mcfarlane, Jada Toys, and more it was truly a show like no other and one of the most exciting in recent years. So with the excitement of the weekend having passed and all the reveals out on the board, these are my top favorite SDCC reveals for the 2025 convention season!! Mcfarlane JSA and Earth 2 (Images Source) Mcfarlane's line up of DC Multiverse reveals wasn't as vast as it has been in previous showings; however, that could very well be related to the approaching end of the line. Regardless, they still had several very exciting figures shown off including a classic Scarecrow, the more classic Static Shock fans have wanted, and for me the biggest were the newest JSA members in Dr. Midnite and Starman! Along with them we're getting our newest entry into the slowly growing Earth-2 display, this time being Dick Grayson as Batman...a figure I have made a cus...

Top 5 most wanted Jada Toys Street Fighter Alpha 3 figures

Image
(Banner Image Source)   (Following Images Source) There was a lot of questions regarding what Jada Toys was going to do with their Street Fighter line following the conclusion of the Street Fighter 2 roster which they had filled out with an incredible set of figures. We got our answer at SDCC as the first three figures comprising the roster of Alpha 3 were debuted! A new Ryu, a new Chun Li, and Charlie are the three headlining the next game in the franchise that Jada Toys is delving into and they look just as amazing as ever! With how well Jada Toys has handled action figures to this point I expect high things from their Alpha 3 endeavor, and with the first wave fully unveiled I've got thoughts on who I want to see next! 5. Cody My Street Fighter knowledge isn't too extensive. I've dabbled in the games, and watched the animated movies, but that is enough for me to have a grasp on Cody. A fallen hero who grew obsessed with fighting is an interesting direction for the charact...

Top 5 most likely Transformers Studio Series figures for 2026

Image
(Banner Image Source)   (Following Images Source) With SDCC dealing out the latest in news about the future of the Studio Series Transformers toyline by Hasbro things are looking more daring than ever! Product spanning out into 2026 has been granted to us, and what a host of reveals it was! A brand new G1 Seeker mold that is already confirmed to be used for both Skywarp and Starscream in the future. The TLK Nemesis Prime retool/repaint we were promised, as well as TLK Barricade and 86' Windcharger! The big talking point is no doubt the line's first ever Titan Class figure, one that rectifies a scale issue from the very start of the line and upgrades AOE Grimlock to the gargantuan size that fits his appearance in the film! I'm sure 2026 still has a myriad of amazing product we haven't seen yet, and in this post I'll break down my top guesses for what will be coming! 5. 86' Astrotrain With the Hasbro team stating their intention to finish out the 86' subline b...

Ranking my excitement for upcoming Marvel Phase 6 Disney+ shows

Image
(Images Source) Marvel's slate of television series heading into phase 6 of the MCU isn't as vast as the future seemed the last time I discussed upcoming shows, but that can be attributed to an effort on Marvel's part to focus on quality over quantity, plus I'm sure they're holding back on announcing too many things that would be coming out after the Avengers climax to the Multiverse saga. We've gotten A LOT of Marvel heroes and series that further build out the world and characters of the MCU, blowing it up moreso than Marvel fans ever expected to see this universe flourish I'm sure. Moon Knight, She Hulk, Ms Marvel, Ironheart, not to mention lesser known characters like Echo and Agatha, along with Secret Invasion, the return of Daredevil in Born Again, and the very fun Spiderman: Freshman Year. Even with all this there's still lots to come from the tv side of things for Marvel in Phase 6, and here I'll count down my excitement for each.  On Pause: ...

Top 5 wanted Jurassic World Mattel Hammond Collection Dinosaurs vol 3

Image
(Images Source) Mattel's Hammond Collection line of Dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures is beginning to get to that point where I feel as though they've nearly covered the swath of creatures we've seen on-screen throughout the now seven movies in the franchise. With the recent incredible releases of the JP3 Spinosaurus and the Stegosaurus we've checked off two major missing pieces from the collection. Beyond that, the Stygimoloch was a nice one to finally see released, the Pyroraptor was a very fun creature from Dominion to get, and we even got a stellar Allosaurus hailing from the Battle for Big Rock short film! With all that it has cleared out my previous most wanted list, and with Rebirth having premiered and debuting a host of new Dinosaurs and designs to the world I have a new most wanted list prepped for the ever growing Hammond Collection line. 5. Indominus Rex At this point the Indominus is one of the most requested dinosaurs in the line, and the last larger sca...

Top 5 wanted Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron Tie Fighters vol 2

Image
(Banner Image Source)   (Following Images Source) The Tie series of starfighters from the Star Wars universe have been continuing to be a large part of the Micro Galaxy Squadron line by Jazwares. As iconic as these ships are it is unsurprising to see so many of them put out, with easily recognizable ones like the original trilogy Tie Bomber and more modern renditions like Kylo Ren's Silencer and Whisper, not to mention recent reveals like the bombdiggity Striker and Defender! So with so many Tie Fighters having been released to this point I have tee'd up a new list of Tie Fighters I hope to see in this ever growing line! Honorable Mention: Tie Crawler and Tie Shuttle A couple of honorable mentions I wanted to mention includes the wild looking Tie Crawler from Legends material. We are so used to air based Tie Fighters so seeing a ground based Tie is almost unrecognizable, but the typical cockpit design still makes it known where it stands in the Galactic conquest. The other hono...

Top 5 most wanted G.I. Joe Classified Tiger Force figures

Image
(Banner Image Source)   (Following Images Source) This was really the first subteam that Hasbro's GI Joe Classified line really delved into, delivering a hefty bunch of the Tiger Force Joe repaints and designs, with still more trickling out every so often like the Roadblock and Tripwire two pack. While other subteams have become more of a focus in recent times, the Tiger Force unit still has lots of viable entries to be check off, and with me having taken a look at so many other subteams already I'm now looking at one of the most fleshed out thus far.  5. Dial Tone We recently received our first Dial Tone figure in the line taking out his primary look from the series, and as one of the stand out season 2 characters it was great to get the character in the line amongst others like Beachhead and Leatherneck. Dial Tone's Tiger Force design could make good use of his mold, granting him a slightly ugly color scheme that combines the Tiger stripes with a deep blue, though it woul...
