Top 5 most wanted Star Wars Black Series troop builder figures

Star Wars Black Series releases have been scant this year with only two waves and a hand full of exclusives, but with the release of episode 9 onward I'm expecting a slew of new product to hit shelves and for the drought to come to an end. In anticipation of the line bringing more figures to the shelves, here is another top 5 list for the line, this time focusing on the army builders the line could bring us in the future!

5. Episode 9 Jet Trooper
This is a new type of Stormtrooper seen in the episode 9 teaser trailer that wear jetpacks similar to the Jumptroopers from Star Wars Rebels. Every version of a Stormtrooper automatically deserves a figure so hopefully it won't be too much longer until the Jet trooper joins the already revealed Sith Trooper in the figure realm. Rumor has it there is also a Sith Trooper variation of the Jet Trooper, meaning there's two more figures Hasbro must make.

4. Scarif Stormtrooper Captain/Scarif rebels
The beach scene in Rogue One was one of my favorite scenes in the whole franchise so it makes me sad that we were so close to finishing the trio of Scarif Stormtroopers only to be cut short of the Captain. Hasbro has said they're interested in releasing that variation one day, and I hope so because the swath of blue across their chest looks cool and I want all three versions for completion. Black Series in general has been light on Rebel troopers, but I have to say that the Scarif rebels are among my most wanted to go along with the rest of the Rogue One cast we've assembled.

3. Hoth rebels
Speaking of rebel troopers. The Hoth scenes is one of the most iconic in the entire franchise and the Hoth rebel troopers are long over due in the line. Hasbro knows how popular these particular troops are given that the revival of the Vintage Collection saw a Hoth trooper as one of the headlining figures, so Black Series should be receiving one pretty soon. There's also the fact I mentioned about the line being light on Rebel troopers; who is the Empire supposed to fight?!

2. B1 Battle Droid variations
There is so much that can be done with the Battle Droid figure that we finally got from Hasbro this year. The repaint potential is incredible and I hope that they take full advantage of it. Obviously there are the brown Geanosian repaints from AOTC, but there's also Oom-9, the blue highlighted variation, and endless more making this one figure a potential gold mine for the line.

1. Super Battle Droid/Droideka
On the topic of Battle Droids, it is about time that we got the two other main Battle Droid variations to go along with the B1 version that finally saw release. Both the Super Battle Droid and Droideka are easily recognizable among fans and would make outstanding figures that are long overdue in the line. Collectors would buy up these figures in droves, and our Clones would finally have someone to fight against.
