Remaining Anakins and Obi Wans for Hasbro's Black Series
The recent influx of Obi Wan and Anakin figures to Hasbro's Black Series line of 6 inch scale Star Wars figures has got me wondering how many versions of these characters are left for the line to do! As I looked through, I found that for the most part Obi Wan is basically covered, but there is still a few Anakins left to be done in the line, and in this list I will be going over the versions of both of them that have yet to seen Black Series representation yet.

These are the only versions of the characters outside of the live action movies that I'm going to include because out of all the expanded universe outfits they had, I think these are the most pertinent to the line and maybe very likely with Clone Wars coming back this year. The armored Clone Wars versions of Anakin and Obi Wan are both really neat versions of the characters and their classic costumes that adds a battle look to them, as well as being outfits that fans really love with hours of Clone Wars episode featuring them in these outfits.

Phantom Menace: Anakin
There are two version of Anakin from the Phantom Menace that could be made into Black Series figures. The first is his appearance throughout most of the movie as he appeared on Tatooine as a little kid. I've said before that I think this figure could be included with a vehicle of his Pod racer which would be awesome, but I would like a kid Ani in general just to get more Phantom Menace representation in the line, and he would look great alongside Qui Gon. The other outfit he wore for one scene at the very end of the movie; his Jedi padawan garbs with a spiffy new haircut and while making this list I honestly forgot that this was a look in the movies. It isn't bad, it is just so short lived that I'm not sure when the Black Series would even consider it.

Attack of the Clones: Anakin
We're finally getting the AOTC version of Anakin in the line, but there is still one more outfit of his from that movie to be made and that is his peasant disguise when he and Padme were on the run to Naboo. It wasn't an outfit he remained in for very longer, nor did very much in, but I know that the Vintage Collection went out of their way to do this version of the character so perhaps there could be hope for the Black Series as well. Another short lived appearance for Anakin in the second movie involved the scene in which Anakin awoke from a dream, then spoke to Padme in his sleep wear. I think that the likelihood of this Anakin being made is very, very slim with probably no likelihood at all.

Return of the Jedi: ghost Anakin
This is the one Anakin on the list that I think will really appeal to fans of the original trilogy and that is because technically this is the original trilogy Anakin. A figure of Anakin's original actor as he appeared as a force ghost in the closing moments of Return of the Jedi, which would also complete the line up of ghosts from that scene as we have had Obi Wan for a bit, and received Yoda recently. It would also be an awesome figure to have alongside any Darth Vader figure.
