Mcfarlane's line of DC Multiverse figures hasn't quite moved into the live action tv universe quite yet beyond that first Arrow figure we got in their first ever assortment, but I'm hoping they'll delve into it sooner rather than later and a show with a ton of characters I'd love to get in figure form is the new Stargirl tv show! I absolutely loved season 1 and I thought that nearly all of the characters were stand out and great, especially the Injustice Society and the villains that we got throughout the show's first season! These are the five characters from the show I want most in figure form! (Image Source) Honorable mention: STRIPE This one might even be too big for the BAF format, but I think that getting this version of STRIPE would be really impressive and make for an awesome figure on the shelf! Mcfarlane continued their train of exciting new reveals with a Death Metal focused assortment made up of Superman, Wonder Woman, the Robin King, and a rerelease of Batman who come together to build an imposing looking Darkfather. They look incredible, sculpted amazingly, and that checks off the trinity from my initial list of my most wanted Death Metal based figures. The even isn't even over yet, but we're getting lined up to get most of the main cast, and I'm writing this to revise and rewrite to bring you my vol 2 of my most wanted DC Comics Death Metal figures! If there is one thing that I have to give Mattel's DC Multiverse over Mcfarlane its that they really jumped into the CW figures headfirst and pretty consistently gave us representation from this awesome live action superhero universe! Mcfarlane's first wave brought us a pretty good Green Arrow from Arrow; however, we haven't gotten anything from this universe since then and I'm really hoping the CW figure train comes soon because its a universe I love and have been watching for years. Seeing the universe grow, more characters from the comics become introduced, and seeing all these characters interacting with each other is truly a treat and I've made a list of my most wanted figures from each of the live action CW Arrowverse tv shows! Continuing my posts working through what characters and designs from each of the Arkham videogames I want most in Mcfarlane's DC Multiverse line has brought me to the prequel tale: Arkham Origins. I know it garnered a lot of backlash from fans for reasons I don't really understand, but I personally really liked the game and the concept behind it of not only the assassins being sent after Batman, but exploring his early years and first interactions with Joker! Deathstroke is the first figure we've gotten from this game and and excellent choice in my opinion, as he is one of the best boss fights of the franchise! But there are plenty more characters from this game to be made past Deathstroke, and these are my top 5 most wanted! Along with Arkham Asylum, Mcfarlane has already tapped into Arkham Knight in terms of figures for his DC comics Multiverse line. The Batman he made based on the game looks incredible, and I'm so excited for him to be jumping into this videogame universe so much already! I've made my list for Arkham Asylum already, and Knight has its own slew of great characters and designs that in my opinion need to be revived for a modern collecting audience! The Batman Arkham game series is easily one of the most popular DC videogames out there and personally one of my favorite Batman universes of all time. I really love the lore and the characters that the series gave us over its four installments and I'm so excited for the universe to continue in the upcoming sequel videogame. It all started with Arkham Asylum though, which still holds up really well, and Mcfarlane toys seems to understand the love this series holds from fans as in their second wave of DC figures they included Batman and Joker based off of their Arkham Asylum designs. Mcfarlane has been doing an incredible job in my opinion with their line of DC comics action figures, with the company churning out some really impressive sculpts and many characters which I truly believe wouldn't have been done by Mattel. This includes the Dark Knights, evil Batmen from across the Multiverse, but who knew just how many evil versions of Batman we would be getting in the line! Beyond the Dark Knights we've also gotten two versions of the Batman who Laughs, as well as the Grim Knight. Not to mention Azrael's batsuit from Curse of the White Knight! Evil Batman are a common sight not only in the toyline, but in DC comics' panels as well, and these are the top 5 evil Batman I hope to see next!
