Top 5 most wanted Mcfarlane DC Multiverse figures based on Batman: Arkham Asylum
The Batman Arkham game series is easily one of the most popular DC videogames out there and personally one of my favorite Batman universes of all time. I really love the lore and the characters that the series gave us over its four installments and I'm so excited for the universe to continue in the upcoming sequel videogame. It all started with Arkham Asylum though, which still holds up really well, and Mcfarlane toys seems to understand the love this series holds from fans as in their second wave of DC figures they included Batman and Joker based off of their Arkham Asylum designs. The designs of these games have always been some of my favorite for these characters, and DC Collectibles gave some incredibly sculpted figures for the first game, their articulation was severely lacking in some cases, and I hope these are the next 5 characters to get updated in figure form by Mcfarlane.

One of the most epic moments of the first game comes as you fight Ivy in her giant plant, but even before that her presence on the island is felt as weeds and vines grow all over the landscape, making the building she holes up in nothing less than a maze and fortress to traverse through. I've always liked the fact that Ivy wears actual clothes in this game interpretation, as scant as they may be, as this differentiates her from so many of her comic counterparts which simply have leaves for coverage.
An absolutely beastly character design was made for this character and I would love for Mcfarlane to give us their take on it. Killer Croc looked like a true monster, not just a man with a skin disorder, and his focused mission in the game for sure stands as one of the eeriest and scariest portions of the entire series. An opening jaw would be a must as well!
Mcfarlane is already dipping their toes into Bane territory with their figure based on the Last Knight on Earth, but I'm hoping they remain in the Bane pool for a little while at the very least to give us this beastly take on the character. This could even be a candidate for a BAF of a Arkham game wave! It isn't just a couple tubes that are shown running Venom through his body, this design of the character carries an entire generator on his back it feels like, and while his time in the game was short it was always one of my favorite boss fights.
I've talked about this take on Harley Quinn a couple times already in other lists, but in such a Harley Quinn focused DC Comics world these days, this still remains my favorite take on the character. I love the design first off, taking the elements of her harlequin motif and mixing it with a nurse's uniform is really unique, and her role in the story as one of the core perpetrators of the Arkham take over solidifies her importance to the game. It has been a while since their first Harley Quinn figure back in January, and this would be my choice for the next figure she receives.
I know everyone remembers Scarecrow's levels in the original Arkham game, especially his iconic level that seemed to actually crash the player's game for a moment. Such a creative design from the creators of the game, and Scarecrow got an awesome character reimagining to go along with his creative level structure. The sack head, gangly limbs, and ragged pants make for such an eerie looking version of the character. Having the fear toxin needles affixed to his fingers was a stroke of genius as well, and I hope Scarecrow is in the next batch of Arkham figures we get.
