When Mcfarlane started his line of DC Comics action figures he jumped head first into the modern day comics and one of my favorite modern day Batman stories that he has already started covering was the White Knight world. It is such a unique and intriguing tale that grows deeper and deeper as the story progresses, and we're still getting to explore the world in follow up stories. DC's official sequel storyline to the breakout Dceased storyline just recently finished up and overall I have really enjoyed this alternate, zombified world that has been conjured up in the DC Multiverse! Its been a ton of fun and has had a great amount of intense, insane scenes that make it one of my favorite elseworlds universes in DC history! Mcfarlane's current offerings for the Arkham videogame universe have been impressive, and the only game out of the four so far that haven't been touched upon by the toy company is Arkham City. This game is considered by many as the best of the series, and as the second game it really opened up the world with a larger area to explore and a much more expansive cast of characters both good and evil to meet. Neca continues to plow on through with their line of Ninja Turtle figures based on the original 1980s cartoon series. They've shown no sign at all of stopping anytime soon, and from my last list amount this topic we've gotten the Rat King, Muckman, and the Punk Frogs, as well as plenty more who weren't part of my previous most wanted list. I just managed to catch up on My Hero Academia season 4 and absolutely loved it, this show has hooked me like so many others and to go along with the series I'm enjoying Mcfarlane's output of figures based on this show as well! The upcoming All for One and Aizawa figures both look fantastic, and I'm so excited for him to keep working through the great cast of characters we've gotten to know through the series! Plenty of Class 1A and even the villains have gotten decent representation from the toy line; however, there's still plenty more to be made and some big ones that have made my list here! I have always been a huge fan of What If? storylines and when DC comics started an entire imprint on dark, elseworlds What If? tales I was hooked. The first round of offerings from Tales from the Dark Multiverse were a great load of fun, and I was even more thrilled when a second round of stories was announced and subsequently released. While some of the stories don't quite live up to the promise of a great elseworlds tale, many of them have gripped me and given us twisted, dark multiverse renditions of beloved characters that I would love to see adapted to figure form by Mcfarlane. They've had a penchant with the license to make twisted versions of our favorite heroes, with the Infected Superman and countless alternate Batmen plenty of examples of this. 2020 was a huge year for the Transformers Studio Series line from Hasbro as we finally completed the mighty Devastator! A massive undertaking for the line as one of the most complex combiners the company as ever tackled! Eight whole robots with completely unique designs and different size classes being released across two years, with their combination ports all wholly unique for the most part. It was unlike anything in the way of modern combiners, and as the Bayverse Constructicons are some of my favorite Transformers designs of all time I was more than thrilled to not only get the entire team updated in the line but also to get them in a fashion that allows them to also form the giant Devastator!
