The MCU is no doubt one of the most successful movie franchises of all time and shows no signs of stopping either. On the action figure side of things, Hasbro's Marvel Legends line continues to grow with each passing year and movie based figures have seemed to become more of a priority than in the past! I've been a huge fan of the MCU ever since the first movie in the series came out with Iron Man, and I couldn't be more thrilled to be getting more and more MCU figures every year! Each year seems to have some kind of set where Hasbro goes back and gives us older MCU characters they missed out on the first time around, and seems poised to do that again this year with the "Infinity Saga" line that Endgame Thor is a part of. I just finished reading through the Rebirth era Superman comics and I was blown away by how great and purely fun the series was! The return of the pre Flashpoint Superman to prominence alone was an intriguing story point, and the show ran with it as it brought that Superman and his family into the new DC universe. From the opening arc of the show I could tell that we were in for something special, and Rebirth's Superman title is no doubt one of my favorite series following the character! With Rebirth being such a focus for Mcfarlane's line of figures, I'm really hoping to see more Superman mythos characters in the line's future, and these are the top 5 figures I want most from Rebirth's Superman comic series! I recently read through the New 52 Superman comic series and while I know many people have different opinions on it, I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. It was a neat telling of Superman, a different Clark Kent then we're used to in a different world, and the reimagining of many classic characters was interesting to see play out. The incredibly unique final few arcs were also something I didn't see coming at all, and I hope that while Mcfarlane Toys is focusing a lot on modern comics right now, they may look back to the New 52 with these five characters being my personal most wanted from the series! The Boys was an instant hit when it premiered, bringing a darker, bloodier, more adult take on the superhero brand starkly different from most of the capes media we see on screen. It has continued to be a widely popular show with season 3 on the horizon, and Neca is taking the reigns of mass retail toy producer for the series with Homelander and Starlight as their obvious first two figures in the line. Zach Snyder's Justice League finally came out and I was very, very impressed with what we got! I was not a big fan of the theatrical version at all, and to have this four hour epic that corrects everything I considered wrong with the original edit is just amazing, and Zach Snyder's Justice League has immediately become one of my favorite DC movies of all time! For the release of the movie, Mcfarlane toys has also got several figures upcoming which all look great and allow us to not just put together the entire team (as long as you bought the previously released Wonder Woman), but also get the villains of the movie! Darkseid and Steppenwolf both look amazing in action figure form, and I can't explain how excited I am to finally be getting what looks like a great figure of Henry Cavill's Superman which will no doubt blow away Mattel's previous attempts! The Flash has become one of the most beloved DC comics character with his comics continuously being some of the highlights of the company's offerings, and the Mcfarlane line of DC figures seems to be focusing in on The Flash as well as we've already gotten figures based on his comic form, movie appearance, and videogame design! From very early on in the Power Rangers Lightning Collection line by Hasbro we've seen that the comics are not being ignored at all! We've gotten two awesome versions of Drakkon already, along with a stellar Ranger Slayer figure and Psycho green!
