Top 5 most wanted Power Rangers Lightning Collection comic book figures
From very early on in the Power Rangers Lightning Collection line by Hasbro we've seen that the comics are not being ignored at all! We've gotten two awesome versions of Drakkon already, along with a stellar Ranger Slayer figure and Psycho green! The comics have a slew of amazing stories, great characters, and incredible designs that would make superb figures so I'm glad that they've been a constant part of the line so far, and with the line seeming to flourish more and more as time goes on I'm narrowing down my top 5 most wanted comic based Power Ranger figures by Hasbro!

While Drakkon is arguably one of the most iconic and well known comic book Power Ranger characters of all time, and I'm making him an honorable mention and not a part of the list because we've been spoiled already with two fantastic figures for this character! Both figures were of his more well known costumes as well, so a break from Drakkon might be due; however, I would absolutely love for Hasbro to finish out Drakkon's evolution at some point!
One of the most fun comics from Power Rangers that I've read recently is for sure the TMNT crossover that saw the turtles and April taking on Power Ranger costumes of their own! They made for fun designs that would translate into unique figures, though I'm keeping these comics and designs lower on the list because I'm not sure if Hasbro can actually make figures based off of this comic. I haven't seen any indication that they have any rights to TMNT licensing, which could mean these designs are a no go. It also can't go without saying that green ranger Shredder was insane.
A great self contained comic was the Soul of the Dragon series detailing a Tommy adventure as he investigated counterfeit ranger abilities, how his son was involved in it, and how he handled the freaking Master Morpher which was an awesome device. While Tommy's son has had other ranger uniforms in the comics, this one is the most distinct and while short lived, its sharp design would look great in figure form!
A really cool team of rangers from the comics that could be put together would be the Omega rangers! Only comprised of four members, the group operates in some of the most far out and dangerous parts of the galaxy, giving them the cool setting to go along with the sleek outfits. Getting to assemble an entire team of comic rangers from Hasbro would be awesome, and their smaller team size would make it pretty easy to accomplish in a one and done wave if Hasbro wanted.
Hailing from the same world as Lord Drakkon and Ranger Slayer, the Ranger Sentries are mass produced legions modeled after past rangers. Their alignment with the World of the Coinless will hopefully make them more likely as figures since that is where Hasbro seems to have focused so far in the comic world, and just like the Omega Rangers it would be amazing to put together each unit of the Sentries to stand alongside Drakkon and to even army build! The bulky Dino Charge gold sentry, caped MMPR red sentry, and mechanized MMPR yellow sentry would be my personal pics to be made first.
Now THIS would be an amazing set of action figures. As soon as I saw these designs they shot immediately to some of my most wanted figures of all time in the Lightning Collection, and with the new deluxe monsters subline a thing there's a perfect place for many of them to slot into now as well. This new team of Dark Rangers created by Lord Zedd absolutely trump the first, and I feel it bears repeating that they look incredible and so intense! I hope that Hasbro knows about these designs, because they have the potential to make for some of the coolest figures in the line if made!
