Top 5 most wanted McFarlane DC Multiverse Flash figures vol 2

The Flash has become one of the most beloved DC comics character with his comics continuously being some of the highlights of the company's offerings, and the Mcfarlane line of DC figures seems to be focusing in on The Flash as well as we've already gotten figures based on his comic form, movie appearance, and videogame design! With the Flash family being some of DC's most recognized heroes, it makes me excited for more versions of Barry Allen along with the other Flashs of the DC universe to be realized in figure form, and this is my updated list of my top 5 most wanted Flash figures from Mcfarlane!

5. New 52 Earth 2 Jay Garrick
I wasn't quite sure what I was getting into when I started the Earth 2 New 52 series but I absolutely loved every issue and storyline that followed. The stakes were real, characters were completely reimagined in very interesting new forms, and Jay Garrick of Earth 2, the Flash, was one of the titular characters that we followed. It was so interesting seeing the character in this newer, greener form who had barely entered adulthood and had to handle global invasions alongside his newfound powers!

4. New 52 future Flash
Flash's New 52 run of comics was one of my favorite series to come out of that era of DC comics, with possibly the best story arc in my opinion being the future Flash storyline. This saw Barry Allen in a grim, sullen future where Wally was dead, Iris was crippled, and most of his rogues were all dead. This version of Barry, wearing an incredible blue and white costume, came back in time to try and set things right, and ended up clashing with his present day counterpart. It was a grand, intense storyline that I very much enjoyed reading, with the art of future Barry's blue costume one of the highlights.

3. Jay Garrick
The JSA are making a big comeback, and I hope that translates to the Mcfarlane toyline because a Jay Garrick figure based on his classic costume would be amazing. He has always been one of the most beloved members of the JSA, and his inclusion in Flash stories have only made him more well known. His hat has become one of the most iconic images in all of DC, and I hope soon to see him revived in toy form.

2. Wally West
There are two big choices for this character I would love to have in figure form. The first is Wally's red costume from Rebirth, where I really fell in love with the character as someone distinct from Barry. The beautiful story of his return and Barry remembering him, his tragic storyline in Heroes in Crisis followed by his incredible self lead series in Flash Forward, not to mention his pivotal role in the Death Metal arc. Wally has been through a massive series of events, and he deserves a truly great figure from Mcfarlane, and his red costume could easily be repainted to create his blue costume!

1. CW's The Flash
Since the show's debut I've been watching The Flash and loving it. Mcfarlane once said, in reference to his toyline being branded as "DC Multiverse," that we would get movie, comic, and tv show based Flash figures. I'm sure he was just making an example, but I'm holding him to that phrase! The comic book Flash figure we got is by far one of my favorite figures in the line, with his recently revealed movie figure looking like another smash hit! I really hope to see the CW's interpretation of the Flash captured by Mcfarlane as a new figure, especially since the CW has hit what I consider the best costume on the show so far!
