The CW's Stargirl tv show is a couple episodes in at this point and I am loving it just as much as I did season one! It is a really fun show with lots of great easter eggs to the golden age of DC comics and as a JSA fan I'm thrilled to see the source material embraced so well! The villains of the series are some of my favorite parts of the show, with the Injustice Society of America being fantastic foes for the show's premier season. This team is one of my favorite villain teams in the comics as well, with so many stand out members through the years. From my previously list of the Injustice Society members I wanted to see on the show, we got Wizard and Gambler in season 1, with Blackbriar Thorn being mentioned in the first episode of season 2 (and likely not showing up due to what Pat said about what happened to him) along with a picture being shown! We've gotten an amazing line up of Decepticons in the Studio Series line so far, with so many amazing designs from the movies being done and many of the best villains from the franchise being covered at this point. We have Blackout, Bonecrusher, all of the Constructicons, Shockwave, and so many other favorites rendered with new action figure forms! From my previous list as well we've gotten Megatron's 2007 design, Soundwave's Dark of the Moon design, and Blitzwing from the Bumblebee movie! The MCU and live action properties are what I buy most from Hasbro when it comes to their Marvel Legends line, and in recent years they've definitely seemed to step up just how many MCU figures we get each year to the point that live action representation is feeling like a priority rather than just an afterthought put out to celebrate a new movie! We're getting so many figures based on characters from movies that came out years ago, and tons of figures for upcoming movies so the MCU shelf has been looking amazing! Hasbro has seemed to indicate that they want to come back to their Infinity Saga line at some point, and in terms of phase 1 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, these are my top picks for characters from each film of that era that I hope Hasbro delivers! Star Wars' newest animated televisions series, The Bad Batch, recently finished up and while there were a lot of episodes that amounted to filler for the series there were also lots of episodes that I really loved! The Star Wars universe got bigger with this show, and within this show we got to see lots of recognizable, familiar characters as well which was a thrill. The animation is some segments were truly spectacular, and the main storyline of the series kept me thoroughly engaged! From my previous list of my most wanted Bad Batch figures we now have Tech and the Imperial outfitted Crosshair, with Fennec Shand confirmed to be coming down the pipeline! Transformers Cyberverse, while kid oriented, was actually not that bad and I really enjoyed it while acknowledging some of the sillier things that would happen. Season 3 in particular really kicked things up a notch, and I've never seen a Transformers show so willing to kill off major characters! The deluxe line of figures that gives the show true action figure has been slow, without a ton of character additions, but it has been steadily building and from my previous most wanted list of figures based on the series we now have Starscream, Soundwave, and Cheetor! At this point Mcfarlane has pretty much proved that he will supply action figures for every upcoming DC movie that comes out to celebrate the release, and the next movie coming up is The Batman early next year. I can't express how much I'm looking forward to this gritty, extremely realistic and noir take on Batman! The designs look so grounded, real, and the trailer we got was indescribably amazing! An amazing storyline that Mcfarlane is starting to touch on from DC comics history is the spectacular The Dark Knights Returns which still stands out as one of the best Batman stories in the company's history! The regaling of a weathered, older Batman is one that took the comic world by storm and has since been used as inspiration in several other medias, such as a two part animated movie and part of the basis for the Batman v Superman film. The armored version of Batman was a great design from the storyline to start off with, but I hope that soon we get a few other characters and designs from this comic and I've put together my top 5 most wanted! Loki just finished up its run of season 1 a few weeks ago, and now we have the full series' cast of characters to take a look at and think about who needs to be made when it comes to the Marvel Legends side of things!
