Most wanted Marvel Legends figures from each MCU phase 1 film

The MCU and live action properties are what I buy most from Hasbro when it comes to their Marvel Legends line, and in recent years they've definitely seemed to step up just how many MCU figures we get each year to the point that live action representation is feeling like a priority rather than just an afterthought put out to celebrate a new movie! We're getting so many figures based on characters from movies that came out years ago, and tons of figures for upcoming movies so the MCU shelf has been looking amazing! Hasbro has seemed to indicate that they want to come back to their Infinity Saga line at some point, and in terms of phase 1 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, these are my top picks for characters from each film of that era that I hope Hasbro delivers!

Iron Man: Mark II
This movie is almost done in terms of what figures we need to complete a proper action figure display of the first MCU movie! We got a two pack of Tony and the Mark 1 for the 10th anniversary collection, and this year we got both the Mark III and a two pack of Iron Monger and Obadiah Stane! That leaves the Mark II armor as the only real figure needed to round out an Iron Man 1 display, and it should be very easy reuse of the Mark III figure!


Incredible Hulk: Abomination
This film is criminally underappreciated in my opinion, and I'm so excited that characters from this film have been utilized throughout the MCU since Marvel seemingly forgot about it. We've seen General Ross a couple times, but the kicker for me was getting Abomination's return to the universe with Shang Chi and the upcoming She Hulk show! Blonsky has been one of my favorite Marvel villains from the MCU for a long time, and an action figure of his live action form would be amazing!


Iron Man 2: Whiplash and Mark V

I can't choose just one for this slot, so I'm going with my two big wants from this movie! While Whiplash isn't quite beloved, he is one of the more iconic villains that many fans remember upon seeing him, mostly due in part to the amazing race track scene! While his final battle armor would be cool, his design from the race track scene is my preferred choice for a figure and would go perfectly in a two pack with the Mark V from that same scene! The suitcase armor ranks as one of the most popular armors from the movies and for good reason!


Thor: Warriors three and the Destroyer

Another slot I'm doubling up on; the Asgardian side of the MCU has been enjoying a nice resurgence of figures to fill out Thor's world, and Hasbro has already expressed interest in doing more characters from these movies! The Warriors three are an obvious three pack to be done, especially with Sif having received a figure a while back. The main one for me though is the Destroyer seen in the first movie of Thor's franchise, a huge, silver guard of Asgard that provided an awesome final act confrontation.


Captain America: Bucky and the Howling Commandos
The first Captain America movie is one that has actually been filled out quite nicely in terms of action figures! We've gotten Captain America, Peggy, Captain America in his first battle outfit, Red Skull, and Hydra soldiers! That slims down the list of potential figures from this movie greatly, but I wouldn't mind giving Cap some more of his war time buddies. Bucky during his WW2 days would be a nice pairing for the lead character, and the Howling Commandos overall would be a cool display.


Avengers: Chitauri
We've gotten the main heroes from this movie, along with the main villain, but especially with today's advancements in sculpting and articulation I think it is high time for the Chitauri army to be put out as army builders for the MCU hero shelf to face! We've gotten loads of army builders from the comic side of things lately, so pushing out a few for the MCU fans makes sense and as the alien race fought against in the first ever Avengers movie and seen again in Endgame, the Chitauri would be bought up by many collectors.

Top 5 most wanted NECA Back to the Future figures

NECA gave us a huge surprise this year with the reveal of a full range of action figures for the Back to the Future franchise! This is definitely one of the most popular franchises out there and I didn't know that I needed action figures for it until now! So far we've had a couple of reveals in the form of Marty from the first movie, Marty in the second movie, Marty in his spaceman costume, and then Biff from the first movie. Top 5 most wanted Jakks Pacific Sonic Badniks vol 2

(Images Source) We have been getting more and more robotic Badniks in Jakks Pacific's line of Sonic figures which is very exciting! Primary characters are great, but getting more of the background designs to fill out the scenes is awesome and we've recently got some Badniks I was eagerly waiting for like the Burrobot, Newtron, and most recently the Caterkiller!! Eggman's army is packed to the brim though with all kinds of robotic enemies, and these are five more I hope to eventually see! 5. Jaws The Chopper is not the most posable of the Badniks that we've gotten so far (not that many are very posable to begin with), but it is such a classic design from the series and another underwater enemy would be the Jaws. With Jakks Pacific steadily working through giving us little playsets themed around different levels, a set themed around the underwater sequences would be the perfect way to get this guy into the line. 4.
