Top 5 most wanted Transformers Studio Series Decepticons vol 2

We've gotten an amazing line up of Decepticons in the Studio Series line so far, with so many amazing designs from the movies being done and many of the best villains from the franchise being covered at this point. We have Blackout, Bonecrusher, all of the Constructicons, Shockwave, and so many other favorites rendered with new action figure forms! From my previous list as well we've gotten Megatron's 2007 design, Soundwave's Dark of the Moon design, and Blitzwing from the Bumblebee movie! With the 1986 movie now included in the line, and still some great Decepticons left to do from the live action films, these are my new top 5 most wanted Studio Series Decepticon figures!

5. Sideways
Making a brief appearance at the start of Revenge of the Fallen, Sideways made a big impression on me for being part of that amazing opening action sequence! His chase scene was very cool, with him jumping through a building, and then being cut in half by Sideswipe in one of the visually coolest scenes of the film! Revenge of the Fallen has been given a ton of figures recently, and I hope Sideways will become another figure from that film to come out soon.

4. Soundwave (Bumblebee movie)
The Bumblebee movie is another film in the Transformers franchise that is getting a good bit of representation recently, with the Cybertron scene in particular getting lots of love on the figure front. Starscream was an amazing figure, and Soundwave would be so awesome to get alongside him. I know he has become one of the line's most desired characters ever since he was first seen in the trailer for the movie, with his design a great blend of the G1 design and live action complexity.

3. 1986 Blitzwing
Blitzwing's time in the original 1986 movie was short, but highly remembered with Kup pulling up his tank barrel to keep him from shooting Hot Rod. The character himself is also one of the original cartoon's most loved Decepticons, primarily for his original as one of the first triple changers in the franchise! A new, highly accurate version of Blitzwing would be well welcomed into the collection, and go great alongside the Astrotrain we already have.

2. 1986 Insecticons
A group of Decepticons in desperate need of an upgrade would be the Insecticons from the original G1 cartoon and movie! As a child I loved these three creepy renegades who many times acted on their own independent of the other Decepticons. Their insect forms were very cool and unique among the alternate forms of the characters, and proper deluxe class figures for Bombshell, Kickback, and Shrapnel would be so great to get.

1. Hatchet
When the line first opened with Crowbar I was very optimistic that it wouldn't be long until we saw Hatchet get a proper figure release as well; however, that hasn't turned out to be quite true as we're still waiting with no sign of Hatchet coming soon! I was actually a big fan of the Dreads in the Dark of the Moon film, and Hatchet's hound-like form really stuck out to me as an awesome design that would be fantastic as a deluxe class figure! He was mentioned in the bio for Dino's release, which renews my hope that we may finally get this animalistic Decepticon soon to finish out our Dreads line up!
