Top 5 most wanted Mcfarlane DC Multiverse figures based on The Batman (2021)
At this point Mcfarlane has pretty much proved that he will supply action figures for every upcoming DC movie that comes out to celebrate the release, and the next movie coming up is The Batman early next year. I can't express how much I'm looking forward to this gritty, extremely realistic and noir take on Batman! The designs look so grounded, real, and the trailer we got was indescribably amazing! With the characters we know are in the movie and the designs we have seen so far, these are my top 5 most wanted Mcfarlane DC Multiverse action figures based on The Batman!

Starting off with a figure from the movie that isn't quite a figure, Mcfarlane has done a few different motorcycle vehicles in the toyline so far and I think the Bat bike from the upcoming movie would be perfect for a new batcycle vehicle from Mcfarlane! I love the design of it with the bat on the front, and from the set photos we have seen Batman looks great riding it!
Colin Farrell is unrecognizable as the Penguin in the upcoming movie, and I can't wait to see what he brings to the character and how different he will portrayed from our last big live action incarnation of Penguin in movies which was Danny Devito's memorable performance! The design isn't extremely toyetic, but the Penguin in any format is a great crime boss villain for Batman!
Getting into the characters from the movie that look more like they would work as action figures, Catwoman's look that we have seen so far is vey subtle which I'm liking as it keeps within the realism of the movie so far. She is wearing pretty muted cat burglar clothes, and the sack she is using as a mask has the corners likely unintentionally mimicking cat ears which is so cool! We have yet to get a Catwoman in the line so far, and while this version doesn't look straight out of the comics, it would be a great addition to this movie's toyline.
From the first trailer, Riddler's look in the movie seems to be straying greatly from his comic roots. Of course, there is lots from the movie we haven't seen yet and he may later on have a more comic accurate design but for now he has a very creepy visage. The head wrapped in duct tape wearing glasses is just unsettling in a serial killer kind of way, and I never thought I'd be afraid of the Riddler!
Now this is the biggie from the movie, obviously, and the one that would work best as an action figure! Batman's suit in the film looks plainly great, I love it, and I love how you can tell it is a suit of armor that the character put together rather than a seamless, comic accurate look that many of the other live action Batmen have come up with! Robert Pattinson looks like he will do a great job with his portrayal of Bruce Wayne, and I can't wait to see the movie when it comes out, as well as hopefully see figures from Mcfarlane based on it!
