Top 5 most wanted Tamashii Nations S.H.Figuarts Naruto figures
Honorable mention: Kidomaru
I could list dozens of Naruto characters I want as figures in this line, as well as all of the Sound ninja villains but I will hone in on one that I think would be extra fun as an action figure! Kidomaru has a very distinct body type in the franchise as he has six arms, and while there is some weird stuff in the Naruto universe I'm surprised no one mentioned the fact that this man had six normal arms at all times! Extra arms would make for some very dynamic posing opportunities, both if they go with his normal look or his cursed mark design!
5. Pain
One of the show's all time great villains would certainly be Pain, the one who levelled the Leaf village and honestly lead to one of the best story arcs in all of Shippuden! While I'm still wary about how SH Figuarts would pull off an Akatsuki robe (their prior attempt with their first Itachi wasn't too promising), I'm optimistic that they could figure out a system to make it work this time around! There's no denying that Pain stands as one of the most popular antagonists from the entire franchise, and the line definitely needs its fair share of villains to pose against the heroes!
4. Kabuto
One that would pair extremely well with the lately revealed Orochimaru, and the child version of Naruto would be Kabuto! Since I first watched the series growing up, Kabuto has been one of my favorite villains from the series! His confident intelligence was an entertaining character trait, and his battle against the Sanin and Naruto during the Search for Tsunade arc helped solidify him as one of my favorites!
3. Zabuza
With this relaunched SH Figuarts Naruto line, one thing I'm extremely excited about has been the line delving into the first Naruto television series as well as Shippuden! I cannot wait for the kid versions of Naruto and Sasuke, not to mention Orochimaru as well! Another great character from one of the series' very first story arcs would be Zabuza Momochi, demon swordsman of the mist! He was the first big time villain that Naruto faced down, and his popularity among fans goes without saying! I'd be ok with either costume of his, and the giant sword he wields would make for an epic accessory!
2. Obito
Keeping the ball rolling with villains, something that I think the line could thrive on, Obito is no doubt one of the most standout characters to come out of Naruto! I don't want to spoil too much with the character and the roll he ends up playing in the series, but he was such an insanely cool addition to the lore with so many killer designs throughout the series that they could pull upon!
1. Might Guy
To keep this list from becoming solely villain focused, topping it off is another of my personal favorite characters from my childhood, that being Might Guy! SH Figuarts have stated that they want to do figures that will go well alongside figures that we have in the line already, and with Kakashi getting a 2.0 release in this revived line, the stage is set for his Jonin rival Guy to join the fray! The articulation scheme of these modern figures would be an absolute godsend for getting Guy into those dynamic poses, and I will need all the eccentric alternate face plates to capture this characters' great personality! An absolutely hilarious piece of fan service accessories would also be "rock, paper, scissors" hands to replicate his ultimate showdown with Kakashi!
