Top 5 most wanted Tamashii Nations S.H.Figuarts Chainsaw Man figures
Another line in the S.H.Figuarts library of figures that has been growing quickly has been their Chainsaw Man assortment! This is an anime that has quickly become one of the current most popular series out there, and with good reason for its entertaining characters and gratifying fight scenes! The line has already given us some of the obvious picks like Chainsaw Man himself, Samurai Sword, Power, and the latest revealed figure being a normal Denji. With the wait for season 2 upon us, these are the top 5 characters from the anime that I hope Tamashii Nations gives us in the meanwhile!
5. Kobeni
Initially introduced as a terrified, trembling team member for Denji and the others when they went after the eternity devil, Kobeni later proved herself to be an adept fighter when it came to the Gun devil's hit upon their organization. The anime has still kept it a secret what devil she made a deal with, but whatever it was gave her incredible reflexes and agility, at that point making her qualify for a cool action figure!
4. Makima
One of the most mysterious characters by far is Miss Makima herself, a soft spoken, ethereal leader who has some kind of power as yet unrevealed. Rumors circulate that she has a contract with the Control devil, but at this point all we know is that she has wild powers under her control, and a wicked set of eyes. Without any exceptional action scenes to her character just yet, it is more the character's popularity and importance to the story that'd make her a necessary figure.
3. Kishibe
Introduced later on as a fight mentor for Denji and Power, I'm sure we'll get plenty more of him in season 2 but so far he has already been one of the most entertaining characters from the series. His demeanor, dialogue, and fighting style were the best part of his introductory episode and now that we're getting a human Denji it'd be more than easy to pose out the cemetery training sessions with him, Power, and hopefully one day a Kishibe! It'd become an insta-buy if Kishibe were to come with alternate expression pieces for Power and Denji for when they decided to fight "smart" and wore glasses.
2. Himeno
One of the primary characters of season 1, and one I'm sure would be up next for a figure between her and the number 1 spot. She got to play a role in a lot of the major set pieces of the season, from the Eternity devil fight, to Samurai Sword's devastating introduction. While her ghostly arm appendage was invisible to those around her, we saw it through her eyes many times and including it as an accessory would be cake!
1. Aki
If I had to put money down on it, I'd say Aki is the most logical choice for the next figure in the Chainsaw Man line, and with good reason for her prowess in action scenes throughout the series. He played the straight man to Denji and Power's antics, and in another world he could have easily been the tortured protagonist to his own series, even more so with how season 1 left him in the end. There's an easy assemblage of accessories to choose for this figure: obviously his sword, alternate hands for his Wolf devil summoning, and whatever other alternate hands and expressions they want to include.
