Top 5 most wanted Mcfarlane Demon Slayer figures

When Mcfarlane initially announced their Demon Slayer line of figures I was excited but cautiously optimistic, knowing how easily Mcfarlane stops and starts figure lines. The first wave of figures gave us three great figures in Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Nezuko, and SDCC revealed four additional figures being brought to the line going forward! Rengoku, Rui, Kocho, and Inosuke! This has me hopeful that the line will be around for a bit, especially with the show's overall popularity! I have not caught up to the Swordsmith village arc quite yet, but from the pilot of the show to the Entertainment District arc, these are my top 5 most wanted Demon Slayer figures from Mcfarlane!

5. Tengen

After the noble Rengoku inspired us during the Mugen train arc, it was quite a shift of pace for Tengen to be our primary Hashira during the next arc. His flair for flashiness, his initial coldness, it was a neat change of dynamics for our main heroes and the Hashira they were paired with. He proved his fighting prowess later on against Gyutaro, and explored his harsh backstory, making him another fan favorite character in a show filled with them.

4. Akaza

I wasn't as wowed by the train demon that had possessed the Mugen train; however, Akaza arriving to finish out the story arc was a blast of intense stakes that also resulted in one of my favorite battle sequences in the series. All seemed like it was over, only for this tattooed demon to arrive from the upper ranks and face down Rengoku. His escape was certainly one of the most frustrating moments of the series, especially as he took Rengoku's life, but I'm looking forward to Tanjiro and the others one day getting their revenge.

3. Super demon-mode Nezuko

Nezuko facing Daki started out as a really awesome battle sequence with Nezuko holding her own against such a powerful demon...and then things started to take a harsh turn as Nezuko tuned further into her demon form, her bloodlust grew, and she nearly went after a group of humans had Tanjiro not intervened! It was a scary far cry from the usual cute Nezuko we had grown used to, and would make for a cool action figure.

2. Daki

I've mentioned aspects of the Entertainment District a few times in this post, and with Rui getting the figure treatment it makes me hopeful for other villains in the series to get the figure treatment. Daki was who we were lead to believe was the primary antagonist of the show's Entertainment District arc, and her design would certainly lead into a great action figure with lots of unique detailing throughout her robes. She would also pair perfectly with the number one figure on my list...

1. Gyutaro

One of my absolute top five moments from the series has been the shocking moment in which Gyutaro emerges from Daki, and proving to be one of the most powerful demons we had seen on the show up to that point. His design has been one of the coolest so far with his emaciated appearance, ruffled hair, and baggy pants. His sickle weapons would be fun to pose him around with, and it only helps that his backstory made him one of the most tragic characters on the show as well!
