Top 5 Favorite Mattel Jurassic World figures of 2025

Jurassic World came back hard with Rebirth, one of my favorite films in the franchise and one that brought a hefty load of fun dinosaur scenes to reinvigorate the series with! The Hammond Collection was firing on all cylinders as well, topping last year's offerings of the Therizinosaurus and Giganotosaurus with some of the very best dinos released in the line thus far, beating out all the competition from the mainline, and to kick off my 2025 figure retrospective I've compiled my top 5 personal favorite Jurassic World figures from Mattel in this list!

5. Troodon

The Troodon was a non-movie addition to the line and a very welcome one as I loved its design, its coloration, the smoky eyeballs along with the quills running down its back and head. While a small addition to the line it was a mighty one, and a big win for non-movie Dinosaurs following suit from prior releases like the Irritator.

4. Stygimoloch

This had been a long time coming and I was very excited to finally add the Stygimoloch to the line. The assortment of horns is very eye catching and makes it more striking than the Pachycephalosaurus, and I personally really love the shadow of reddish brown they've gone for.

3. Stegosaurus

The larger figures from the Hammond Collection always manage to take the wins year after year and they are consistently some of the best mass market Dinosaur action figures out there. The Stegosaurus was a long overdue addition to the line but came out beautifully with great sculpting, a modest range of articulation, and a hefty size that makes me wish they would go back and redo the Triceratops from the start of the line.

2. Sinoceratops

Speaking of figures that make me want them to redo the Triceratops, the Sinoceratops is one of the most recent additions to the line and easily my favorite of the Ceratopsian figures Mattel has put out. The range of motion it can achieve with its hips make it very easy to get into stanced poses as if it is going to charge or defend, the sculpting on the crest is top notch, and the swappable horn to recreate battle damage is one of the most creative choices I've seen in the line yet!

1. Spinosaurus

Not just my favorite Dinosaur figure of the year but one of my top favorite figures of the entire year overall! Since the start of the Hammond Collection I have been hoping and hoping year after year for a Spinosaurus based off the species' appearance in the third film of the franchise. 2025 was the year Mattel finally delivered, and they did so with what is easily the best figure in the line as a whole. The Spinosaurus has impressive size to it, a fantastic range of articulation as well as sculpting that has me absolutely in LOVE with the headsculpt of this beast and the signature sail on its back. While I never had a great sense of the color in the film itself, seeing the red of the Spino in action figure form makes me appreciate the design all the more, and 2025 has without a doubt delivered on one of the grails of my collection.
