Dark Knights Metal continues to be the bread and butter of Mcfarlane's DC Multiverse line which is really leading me to wonder what the line will look like once he gets close to finishing out that storyline? For the mean time though we're still getting awesome looking figures from the story like Red Death, the Merciless, and the Robin Crows which thin out my initial list quite a bit, so I'm coming back around to delve in Metal and count down the top 5 figures I want Mcfarlane to make from this major storyline in recent DC history! Injustice was incredibly popular when it first came to the videogame realm and this story about an alternate universe where Superman went evil and took over the world was so popular that its been a recurring idea in many media outlets with the live action movie universe even alluding to this possibility! The second game didn't seem as impactful on general media, but I still really enjoyed a further exploration of this dark world, and overall I also just enjoy having a fighting game centered around DC characters! There's really been no world on a third game in the franchise thus far, but I'm hoping the general success of the first two can eventually lead to a third game in the series being made and these are the top 5 new fighters I would hope to see introduced! Yellow rangers are usually a constant when it comes to Power Ranger teams and lately we have gotten a couple of yellow rangers to help fill out this designation in Hasbro's Lightning Collection. Since my last list talking about this subject, we got Trini from Mighty Morphin, the Yellow Psycho Ranger, and from online leaks and pictures we've seen that Ashley from In Space should be coming soon as well. Continuing on my focus on different specific storylines that I want Mcfarlane to make figures of in their DC Multiverse line, and what figures I would like most from those storylines has lead me to one of the best Batman stories I've read recently. Last Knight on Earth provided a twisted future of the New 52 Batman with a very interesting storyline that gave us great new versions of a lot of familiar characters, as well as a great story overall that I'd love to see Mcfarlane touch upon. With their focus on Batman and Batman related storylines/characters I don't think it will be very long until we see some of these characters actually come up in the line and these are the 5 I hope to one day get! Hasbro's line of 6 inch figures based on the Power Rangers universe has been doing a great job of reaching all throughout the franchise's history to give us fan favorite characters and some surprises as well. One era which is largely new is the Hasbro era of Power Rangers which began with Beast Morphers and will continue to Dino Fury which releases next! Already I can feel a big boost in quality from the lukewarm received New Saban era, and I'm glad that Hasbro has already pushed so many Beast Morphers characters into the line! So with the future of Power Rangers as well as the collecting side of things looking bright, here are each of my most wanted rangers from each Hasbro era show! While I do agree with the sentiment that the overall quality of Power Rangers took a big dip during the New Saban era seasons, I still enjoyed Power Rangers which is pure wackiness at its core. While the rangers or the stories and villains may not have been as compelling as past seasons, I don't think these seasons deserve to be ignored by Hasbro's Lightning Collection and we've already seen a dive into this era with a few Dino Charge figures in the line! So with hopefully years of Lightning Collection figures to come, here is my wishlist for my most wanted rangers from each New Saban era show! NECA has done an absolutely incredilbe job bringing their Gremlins line of figures back to life recently! Every release, while for the most part being the same figure, have been great and I've collected each and every one of them! Their focus is primarily on the 1984 original movie which offers up a lot of different looks for the Gremlins from the second movie in the series, and I've eagerly bought up Stripe, and each of the standard Gremlins they've released in the line from the gamer Gremlin to the new figures based on old ads for the movie! From the last list I made talking about this line, we got the carolers who look amazing once assembled, a new Flasher Gremlin with a great cloth jacket who also comes with a plethora of bar scene themed accessories that covers practically all the bar scene Gremlins I mentioned in my last list.
