Black rangers haven't got as much prominence in the Lightning Collection line as other colors so far but we're still getting a steady amount, and I'm very excited for more of these awesome rangers to get made! Recently Hasbro said that they're going to make a point of finishing out different teams in the Star Wars Black Series action figure line rather than releasing members of different groups over the course of years like we saw with the ESB bounty hunters and the Rebels Ghost crew. I for one am very excited about this, as putting together teams is one of the best parts of collecting in order to have a complete set up! WandaVision just finished up on Disney+ and I really enjoyed it! I thought it was a big win for the MCU's first offering of the first wave of big tv show tie ins to the movie universe! It delivered on the spectacle and storytelling prowess we've come to expect from the big budget films of the superhero universe, and I'm so excited now for Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, and all the other shows coming down the pipeline! Marvel Legends has already confirmed that they're going to be doing waves of figures based on these shows, and just recently revealed a white Vision figure based on WandaVision! Jazwares line of Halo figures has so far been a lot of fun, and really well done. While there were quite a few QC issues plaguing the first wave of figures, that seems to be completely rectified with wave 2 which boasts a great line up of great looking figures! I love the spartan designs in general, and while no name spartan designs have been getting figures, there have also been some awesome characters chosen for the line as well such as Jerome, Emile, and Kat! At this point, there haven't been any aliens in the line, and the title of the line being the "Spartan Collection" is worrying me that we wont get any larger scale aliens from Jazwares, but with the focus currently on Spartans I will embrace that. The final, ultimate conclusion season of Clone Wars was not only incredible but also kickstarted the next big animated series to take place in a galaxy far far away! The Bad Batch is premiering later this year and will follow the same epic, unique group of Clone soldiers that Clone Wars introduced us to! This band of genetically mutated clones were a ton of fun to watch, and it'll be great to see even more of them, especially in a post-Revenge of the Sith universe! Despite the show yet to be airing, Hasbro's Black Series line has already given us a few members of the team such as Crosshair, Wrecker, Hunter, as well as an Elite Clone Trooper which is set to appear in the show as well! Such focus given to the show already makes me excited that Hasbro is actively supporting it, and based on what we know about the show as well as the trailer we've been given, these are my top 5 most wanted Black Series figures based on The Bad Batch! Lots of people are familiar with the Clone Wars cg television show which is dearly beloved by many, and finally getting its due process in Hasbro's Black Series line with lots of figures recently coming out to celebrate it. One show that ran for much shorter but equally as great is the Tartakovsky animated Clone Wars tv show which debuted many iconic characters we know today like Ventress and Grievous! Due to the release of Wonder Woman 1984, Wonder Woman became the first movie-verse character in Mcfarlane's line of DC products with not only one figure but two of the titular superheroine. While movie figures haven't been a huge part of the line so far, I hope we keep getting them because I love the live action universe of DC characters we've been getting and the Wonder Woman movies in particular have been great.
