Top 5 most wanted Star Wars Tartakovsky Clone Wars Black Series figures

Lots of people are familiar with the Clone Wars cg television show which is dearly beloved by many, and finally getting its due process in Hasbro's Black Series line with lots of figures recently coming out to celebrate it. One show that ran for much shorter but equally as great is the Tartakovsky animated Clone Wars tv show which debuted many iconic characters we know today like Ventress and Grievous! Hasbro showed that they are aware of this show a couple years ago when they made an armored Obi Wan based off of one of the show's best segments, and with that entry point to this great feature I've put together my top 5 most wanted figures from this small piece of Star Wars media!

5. Shaak Ti
I absolutely love Shaak Ti and her design, and the only reason she is lower on the list is because she isn't a design that is exclusive to the cartoon. Her portion of the show showing her trying to get Palpatine away from Grievous was a ton of fun and one of my favorite storylines, allowing us to see what a great Jedi she was! The prequel Jedi are among my favorite Star Wars designs, with Shaak Ti being one of my all time favorites and I hope to get her soon!


4. Captain Fordo
Hasbro has made evident its love for Clone troopers and Stormtroopers over the years, and one that I'd really like to get in the line would be Captain Fordo! We saw his several times through the show commanding his elite unit, most notably when he saved Ki Adi Mundi and a few other Jedi from Grievous' onslaught! The stunning red of his armor combined with the trademark additional armor of Captains make for a great look, and something that could be easily obtained by repainting existing parts and pieces!


3. Shirtless Kit Fisto
One of the most popular designs to come from this show it seems is the shirtless look for Kit Fisto, which admittedly was pretty awesome and a great segment to show off this great Jedi master! We finally got our first Kit Fisto in the line last year and it is fantastic! With the headsculpt already available, that's one less piece that would need to be tooled in order to create this look in figure form! I also have to mention that the sizzling lightsaber from it being underwater would be such a unique sculpted lightsaber blade.


2. Durge
Circling back around to the armored Obi Wan I mentioned had been made, that would go perfectly with the devastating, ruthless bounty hunter Durge who we saw him go up against in the show! There are two possible looks for this character and either would be welcome additions to the line, whether they want to go with his more tame, armored look or his powerful, muscled super form he took on later in the battle.


1. Tattooed Anakin Skywalker
I really love the armored look for the Clone Wars Anakin took on; however, my true favorite Clone Wars design for Anakin has to be his tattooed look from this show! It came from a great story in the show and looks great as well, with the angular blue lines running through one of his arms and part of his chest, making the potential for one of the most unique and best looking Anakin figures for the Black Series yet!

Top 5 most wanted Star Wars the Black Series aliens from The Phantom Menace

The prequel love is very strong recently in Star Wars the Black Series, the line of 6 inch collection figures covering the Star Wars franchise. It felt like, as a prequel fan, that I was gasping for prequel figures in the collection not only a year ago but now we've had a flood of them, with another flood quickly coming! It's gotten me more excited for the line than I've been in a long time, and I've been thinking about some choice prequel characters I'd like to see! Aliens are getting a bit of a resurgence in the line as well, with prequel Jedi, Moloch, Rio, and a few others, so what better list to make than my most wanted aliens from the prequels? Top 5 most wanted Jakks Pacific Sonic Badniks vol 2

(Images Source) We have been getting more and more robotic Badniks in Jakks Pacific's line of Sonic figures which is very exciting! Primary characters are great, but getting more of the background designs to fill out the scenes is awesome and we've recently got some Badniks I was eagerly waiting for like the Burrobot, Newtron, and most recently the Caterkiller!! Eggman's army is packed to the brim though with all kinds of robotic enemies, and these are five more I hope to eventually see! 5. Jaws The Chopper is not the most posable of the Badniks that we've gotten so far (not that many are very posable to begin with), but it is such a classic design from the series and another underwater enemy would be the Jaws. With Jakks Pacific steadily working through giving us little playsets themed around different levels, a set themed around the underwater sequences would be the perfect way to get this guy into the line. 4.
