Top 5 most wanted Star Wars the Black Series team sets
Recently Hasbro said that they're going to make a point of finishing out different teams in the Star Wars Black Series action figure line rather than releasing members of different groups over the course of years like we saw with the ESB bounty hunters and the Rebels Ghost crew. I for one am very excited about this, as putting together teams is one of the best parts of collecting in order to have a complete set up! So with the years ahead already showing signs of this increased focus on finishing teams, here are my top 5 most wanted team sets from the Black Series line!

This is a bit of an odd one and a group of characters that has surprisingly already come very close to completion. We got ghost Obi Wan a few years ago, with ghost Yoda coming out more recently. That leaves us with only needing the ghost version of Anakin, whichever actor they choose to do so with, and then we'd have the full trio of ghosts from the end of Return of the Jedi for Luke to stare at!
One of the smallest "teams" in the Star Wars universe would be very easy to finish with only two figures being needed to do so. Appearing in the iconic bar scene of A New Hope, and then again in a full cameo in Rogue One, the dynamic duo of Ponda Baba and Dr. Evazen are two rude, off putting denizens of the galaxy who like to pick fights with whoever suits them. The line needs more of these random alien designs from the movies, and I think these two would be awesome additions to the line!
This is a team that is coming together very quickly. We've already gotten the reveals of three of the team members of this elite, outcast group of Clones, with the fourth already teased by Hasbro as coming soon! This is awesome to be getting the members of this team so quickly after their great debut in the Clone Wars show, with their own show on the horizon! Tech would finish out the initial line up, but of course Echo is now part of the group making one more figure that needs to be made for the team's composition.
It seems to be a running expectation that at the end of each season of the Mandalorian there is a team put together for whatever the big mission is at the climax. For season 1 it was Greef Karga, Kuiil, Cara Dune, and IG-11 who we've all gotten figures on, and from the season 2 finale we've already gotten Bo Katan, leaving three more slots needing to be filled in the collection. Koska Reeves, like the Bad Batch's Tech, has already been teased by Hasbro; however, beyond that we'll still need Fennec Shand as well as the Mandalorian's incredible depiction of Boba Fett!
One of my all time favorite groups of characters from the Star Wars universe is the Jedi council and other assorted Jedi seen throughout the prequels. All of the different, alien designs look amazing and added to that the fact that they are all Jedi makes them automatically cool and potentially great action figures. We've seen a couple of these characters already make it into the line with Kit Fisto and Plo Koon, as well as the human characters like Mace Windu, Qui Gon, and Obi Wan, but I'm very excited for more of the Jedi council, most notably more alien members like Ki Adi Mundi, Aayla Secura, and Shaak Ti!
We very nearly completed this team with the release of the movie, very very nearly; however, Bodhi Rook was left out of the action figure line! He personally was my favorite character to come out of the movie and I've been waiting years at this point for Hasbro to finally add him to the collection, rounding out the Rogue One team as a whole, which they very much deserve. Just one more figure is what's needed to give us a full Rogue One team, from one of the best movies of the Disney era in my opinion, and hopefully soon for the 5 year anniversary of Rogue One this year we can finally add Bodhi to the line.
