To this point in Hasbro's Transformers Legacy line we've gotten figures from both Armada and Cybertron which round out two out of three of The Unicorn Trilogy shows. While Energon certainly is near the bottom when talking about quality of Transformers shows, it definitely holds a spot in the history of the franchise and brought with it plenty of very awesome looking designs not to mention characters and concepts I didn't mind. So with Armada becoming a further priority with the anniversary next year, here are the top 5 Energon characters I hope to see from the Unicron Trilogy next! (Image Source) 5. The Injustice game universe is one of the most compelling Elseworld stories in DC's comic line and while we're still waiting for a third game in the series Mcfarlane has been steadily giving us characters from this bleak universe! We got Flash and Grodd as our first two figures off the roster, followed by a few more including Reverse Flash who is one of my favorite Speedster designs, and finally an Injustice Batman in the most recent Page Punchers line up. There's still plenty of characters and designs to be tapped into though, with Supergirl seeming like the next one in line with her appearance on the cover of the Page Punchers comic and Mcfarlane typically making everyone on the covers. Characters and designs from all across the Multiverse ranging from classics to the Rebirth era, some Elseworlds sprinkled in, with a couple Green Lanterns, a couple villains, and only one Batman! While I've been highly critical of Mattel in the past, and still think they were far behind what a lot of other companies were doing with figures at the time of their DC offerings, a few of the figures I'll be talking about today have plenty of great merits and it's fun to think about them while seeing the modern takes Mcfarlane is putting out! While none of been particularly ground breaking so far, I've really been enjoying the 7 inch scale Page Punchers line from Mcfarlane and the exclusive comic books that they each entail. So far we've had three wave bringing us three different exclusive comics, and figures based on them. Black Adam, The Flash, and Injustice. With this post I will be focusing on the Page Punchers comics from Mcfarlane and listing down the designs in them I want to see made in figure form next, because the figures that come with the comics don't cover ever design we see in them! It was a great way to get to know a lot of those characters more and see their individual relationships amongst one another that really fleshed out their personalities and development more than just them showing up in a solely Batman focused story.
