Top 5 most wanted updated Transformers Energon figures
5. Strongarm and Signal Flare
The Omnibots were a fun group of characters in the show that have more than a few nostalgic designs for me. Strongarm and Signal Flare were both figures I had as a child and really loved, so getting updated versions of them in the modern day lines would be very cool! Signal Flare's running gag later on in the show of producing Energon simply by sun bathing was very funny, as was Strongarm's constant complaining about battle.

4. Optimus Prime
I have a pretty strong feeling we'll get this design sooner rather than later, simply because this is an Optimus Prime we're talking about. Strong Power Rangers vibes with this iteration of the character as he utilized extra units of varying colors and designs as additional limbs for his super mode. Growing up I always thought it was one of the most epic portions of the show to watch Optimus launch his convoy, and this could easily take the spot of Commander Class one year!
3. Scorponok and Battle Ravage
Bringing the Terrorcons together for one slot, Scorponok was another character that I had the figure of as a child and remained one of my favorites through the ages. I loved the scorpion mode, the treads for legs, the visor, and his role in the show was one compelling to watch as Megatron turned him against his true master: Alpha Q. The Terrorcon soldiers were some of the most nostalgic designs to me as well along with the Omnicons, the Battle Ravage's in particular being synonymous with my childhood.

2. Snowcat
I had no idea as a kid that Snowcat was actually Cyclonus as I didn't get that far into the show back then, but I had a blast with the figure and it became one of my favorites with its smoky cockpit, flip out skis, and unique vehicle mode! Once I got around to finishing the series and finding out it was actually an upgraded form for Cyclonus I had even more fun with it, even if his yodeling haunts my dreams!
1. Shockblast
With all the silliness and cheesiness of the show, I was a bit caught off guard when Shockblast made his debut. Bursting out of prison and slaughtering not only the Autobots but his own rescuers was a shock and rendered this Decepticon in a much more malicious light than the rest of his comrades. Unlike the Shockwave of the original G1 series, Shockblast despised Megatron and had several schemes to usurp him, all of his failing as he ultimately became a pawn of Unicron before his death.
