Most wanted Star Wars: Attack of the Clones Black Series figures

Next year will be the 20th anniversary of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace hitting theaters, and Hasbro has already made it clear they will be celebrating it. A good hand full of prequel characters have already been revealed for their Black Series line of action figures, and while I've already done a list of Phantom Menace characters I would like to see soon the reveals of characters like Grievous and Droid Factory Padme make it clear that all three prequel movies will be pulled from. This got me looking to the second film in the prequel saga, Attack of the Clones, for some more figures I would like to see made with Hasbro's new focus on prequel characters.

Kid Boba
First up is the child version of Boba Fett that we got in the film. He didn't get to do a whole lot in the film itself, but I did like to get his very unique backstory and his introduction here lead to the episodes of the Clone Wars tv show that featured him. That was where child Boba really got to thrive with multiple episodes committed to him, where we got to see him transform into a full fledged bounty hunter by going after the Jedi and later pulling heists alongside his own team. Those episodes were some of my favorite, and are what put the Attack of the Clones younger version of Boba on this list as my personal favorite version of the character thanks to Clone Wars.

Naboo fields Padme/lake side Padme/Naboo pilot Padme
There is such an immense wealth of outfits and costumes for Padme in the movies that as I have said before: I am shocked Hasbro didn't start making her sooner. So many beautiful and stunning designs are available for them to put out, and I'm throwing in my three favorite Attack of the Clones looks for her that I want as figures. The dress that she wore in the Naboo fields with Anakin was very cute with its subdued golds, floral patterns, and lighter look that helped illustrate that she was having fun. The dress that she wore by the Naboo lakeside was gorgeous, with its blend of white, purples, and so many other colors that just make an amazing outfit. Then finally there is the Naboo pilot uniform that she wears in the start of the movie during the trip to Coruscant, another very practical look for her like her white outfit from the droid factory and battle robes from the end of Phantom Menace. All three are looks that I'd welcome into the line, and more Padme will never be a bad thing.

Zam Wesell
This was a character that I wished we had gotten to see more of and whose design I absolutely loved. Her purple outfit was visually appealing and was made up of my favorite color, and she got a very fun sequence and role in the movie for the time that she was around. The speeder chase remains one of the funnest parts of the prequel saga, and her introduction scene with the near assassination of Padme was a tense scene and good introduction to the sly, covert bounty hunter. The eventual reveal that she was a shapeshifter was a fun addition that made her character stand out even more, and just added more features for the action figure to potentially integrate. Her rifle, possibly the vial along with the worms inside of it, and definitely an alternate head for her true form; hopefully Hasbro includes all this when they get to making her.

C-3PO
Just as the Phantom Menace version of C-3PO is one of my favorite iterations of the character, so is the Attack of the Clones version in which he was given metal plating, albeit more rustic, grungy plating unlike the bright gold he sports for the rest of the franchise. It was another new, interesting look for him that also helped to build out the poverty and run down nature of the galaxy outside of regal planets like Coruscant and Naboo. A must have accessory for this figure would be an alternate Battle Droid head in order to replicate the scenes on Geonosis where C-3PO's head got swapped by accident.

Count Dooku
Arguably one of the most baffling omissions in the Black Series line at this point, and possibly the number one most baffling with other character like Padme and Grievous finally revealed. Dooku should have been a part of the line from the very start, or at least sooner than several years past the line's inception. Played by the great Christopher Lee, he was the main antagonist of the second film and much of the Clone Wars tv show. His death was used to push Anakin further towards the dark side, and every scene he inhabited he carried with him an air of superiority and intellect. A Sith who was a Separatist first most, who cared more for politics than he did the magic of the Force, weaved together a very fascinating character without mentioning the fact he trained Qui Gon and was trained by Yoda. It's insane that this character hasn't been made yet, so hopefully he will be joining us soon.

Super Battle Droid
With all of the talk I gave for Dooku this entry may seem like it should be number two, but the Super Battle Droid is the figure I want most from Attack of the Clones. We finally got the reveal of the Battle Droid's figure which is coming this year, and in the second movie we were introduced to another variant of that droid which was bigger, stronger, and has become just as iconic as the first version. The Super Battle Droid was a gray/blue brute of a droid with a rounded body, blasters implemnted into the forearms, and more heft than the usual Battle Droid carried. It would make for a great figure, an awesome army builder, and would further fill out the ranks of droids in the line. The Battle Droids and Separatist Army were some of my favorite parts of the prequel trilogy and the Super Battle Droid is a central figure that I need in the line.
