Top 5 most wanted Mcfarlane DC Multiverse New 52 Futures End figures
Mcfarlane surprised me when he did a wave of DC figures based loosely around the New 52 Futures End storyline. While a lot of the characters in the wave weren't from that storyline, we did get Batman Beyond, with the build a figure being the Batman/Joker Brother Eye cyborg seem throughout the series. I enjoyed reading Futures End a lot and am so excited to be building the Batman/Joker bot! I'm hoping too that the Futures End representation doesn't end there because there's lots of really great designs introduced in that series that would make for great figures, and these would be my top 5 picks!

What shocked me later in the series was the deaths of certain characters, and with Firestorm needing another half it was really cool to see Madison become the primary body of Firestorm! Her new fiery look was very awesome to see, along with the problems it brought her as a character from a story stand point. Mcfarlane has been one to give us off the wall versions of characters rather than standard looks, so a Futures End Firestorm would be neat.
Possibly one of the most powerful beings in all of DC comics, Fifty Sue had a very violent start when she appeared in Futures End but I like where they took the character overall! I don't know which design I'd prefer for a figure, as her usual, casual design is the one I'm most familiar with where she dons a dress, and rainbow arm warmers; however, her Deathstroke inspired attire looks just so rad.
A relatively minor character in everything I'd seen her in previously, Plastique became one of my favorite characters in the Futures End storyline and a character I really like overall in all of DC comics! I love her redesign for the New 52, with the headband and blue coloring over her eyes, and her relationship with Batman Beyond is something I really liked and rooted for as well!
A perfect mega figure or build a figure for a second wave, Brainiac's looks in the series was plain terrifying and awesome! The intense threat of the character really made him stand out as well, like nothing we had seen from the villain before, and postulated the idea that every Brainiac we had seen before was simply a drone or vessel of some kind for this Brainiac Prime! The design for his initial drone as well is one of my favorite designs from the series! The mysterious nature of the purple, translucent robot that was roaming and slaughtering was one of my favorite subplots early on, and would make for a really cool figure if it utilized translucent plastic.
I've seen other people making custom figures based on this design, and with the amount of different Supermen we've been getting this could easily be slotted into a random wave somewhere. The initial subplot of the masked Superman and whether it was still Clark or someone new was another subplot I really liked reading and wondering about, with the ultimate reveal that it was Shazam something that put a smile on my face. The mixture of black and blue for the suit along with the cape, and obviously the mask, made for a sleek new look for the Man of Steel and one I would buy in an instant were Mcfarlane to give it an action figure.
