Top 5 most wanted updated Transformers Prime figures

I recently wrote a list talking about my most wanted updated Transformers Armada figures from Hasbro, and with universe like Beast Wars and Shattered Glass among others getting updated figures I think it wont be long until lots of other Transformers universes are expanded out towards for updated action figures! G1's domination on the line has been very apparent for several years; however, with Beast Wars a huge shift seems to have occurred and I hope that continues on and we get lots of figures ranging from all other the Transformers universe! In particular Prime is one of the most mature of the franchise's series, and these would be my top 5 most wanted characters to receive updated modern action figures!

5. Bulkhead
The original toy that came out for this character during the original line was astounding and honestly if they just wanted to rerelease that figure I wouldn't blame Hasbro as it is basically perfect in terms of representing the character's design. I'm open to a new interpretation as well and I can't wait to see what's done with the character in the future, especially given the rerelease of figures like Breakdown and the Jet Vehicon already signaling a possible impending return of Prime products.


4. Arcee
This design is one that's very hard to pin down in a transforming figure. As great as the original First Edition figure was, the kibble was very apparent and while I don't think that's something that can be entirely remedied due to Transformers toys having to adhere to the laws of physics I think modern day technology and designs could go a long way towards giving us an even more accurate, transforming version of this character.


3. Starscream
In terms of perfect translation of a character from G1 to a modern update I feel like Prime's Starscream encapsulates perfectly the backstabbing albeit whiney Starscream that we knew and loved from the original series! His skinnier form was really interesting for the character in terms of a design update, and there was no end to the awesome scenes this character was involved with in all his treacherous glory.


2. Knockout
One of the standout more original characters to come out of the show was the Decepticon medic, Knockout! His egotistical, snarky personality made him a fan favorite, and his awesome red hued design is well done as well. The toy he received as part of the Prime toyline leaves a lot to be desired, making him one of the characters most ripe for an update from Hasbro!


1. Soundwave
Out of all the designs and character personalities in the show, this was the one that I loved the most. Soundwave's spindly nature, with elongated arms and a screen for a face is such a creative design for the character and his utter lack of seeming dialogue or personality was so cool as he really took the role of the Decepticon intelligence officer. His original toy wasn't terrible, but something with a bit more articulation would be nice!

Top 5 most wanted Jakks Pacific Sonic Badniks vol 2

(Images Source) We have been getting more and more robotic Badniks in Jakks Pacific's line of Sonic figures which is very exciting! Primary characters are great, but getting more of the background designs to fill out the scenes is awesome and we've recently got some Badniks I was eagerly waiting for like the Burrobot, Newtron, and most recently the Caterkiller!! Eggman's army is packed to the brim though with all kinds of robotic enemies, and these are five more I hope to eventually see! 5. Jaws The Chopper is not the most posable of the Badniks that we've gotten so far (not that many are very posable to begin with), but it is such a classic design from the series and another underwater enemy would be the Jaws. With Jakks Pacific steadily working through giving us little playsets themed around different levels, a set themed around the underwater sequences would be the perfect way to get this guy into the line. 4. Top 5 most wanted Mattel Hammond Collection dinosaurs

The Hammond Collection looks to be the collector's dream for an articulated, highly accurate line of dinosaur figures! We're getting lot's of iconic and fan favorite creatures in the line's first year, with more great figures sure to be in the line's future! (Image Source) 5. Pteranodon The version of this dino that we got from the Amber collection was pretty spot on; however, we've got a new scale to work with and so I'm needing myself a new collector's line Pteradon to fit in with the rest of the Hammond Collection we've been building up to this point!
