Top 5 most wanted Mcfarlane DC Multiverse figures based on each media type

When it comes to Mcfarlane's line of DC Multiverse figures he has been pulling from all branches of media which I really like. While the brunt of the figures being produced are comic book based, that hasn't put other types of media off the plate as we've gotten a steady stream of characters as well from live action movies, videogames, tv shows, and animated media! It really makes it feel like a DC Multiverse of a line, with the potential for any character to be made into an action figure! With this approach clearly established, I thought about each of these media platforms and which characters/designs I want most from each, with these being my ultimate picks! With this post I'm also celebrating my 600th post on this blog which is an absolutely insane number to have reached! I'm happy to celebrate that milestone by talking about Mcfarlane's DC line, which is definitely the kind of toyline I've been waiting for when it comes to DC's vast universe!

Movies: Man of Steel General Zod
I've talked this design to death and I'll be talking about it again here because I absolutely love the rendition of General Zod we got from the Man of Steel film, and his armor would translate through into an awesome figure! I would even jump for a flight suit Zod as well if Mcfarlane wanted to re-use the Justice League Superman we got; whatever to get me a Michael Shannon Zod on my shelf!

Comic books: The Crime Syndicate
All these evil Batman figures and not even an Owlman? With the New 52 storyline Forever Evil, the Crime Syndicate immediately became some of my favorite comic book villains ever! They were scary, threatening, and became more of their own characters rather than just evil versions of the heroes. Characters like Ultraman and Johnny Quick would make fantastic figures in Mcfarlane's toyline, and the inclusion of new Syndicate members like Deathstorm and Atomica were welcomed as well in the series. The Earth-3 Shazam may trump all of them though in terms of my most wanted from their world, as Mahzas was incredible as a villain.

Tv shows: CW The Flash
In the very first wave of Mcfarlane's DC line ever we got Green Arrow based on the CW show! Since then, nothing. We even got a return to the animated figures already which shocked me, as you can still find the figures from Jan 2020 on shelves at store! The CW is rich with superhero designs to be produced as new figures, and my immediate choice right now to be made would be Flash from the series of the same name! While the quality in recent seasons have definitely been declining, those first few seasons had me in love and I'd still buy a Mcfarlane CW Flash in a heartbeat.

Animated: Teen Titans
While we've had a return to the animated Justice league figures, there has been no signs of life on the Teen Titans animated front! Cyborg seemed to be the one animated figure that actually sold really well so this surprises me, and I hope that we get the rest of the Teen Titans soon because I was very excited to put together this cast with great action figures! Cyborg along shows the potential of how great this team could be in action figure form, so hopefully he won't be alone on the shelf much longer!

Videogame: Injustice 2 Reverse Flash
I was so excited when Mcfarlane started to delve into the Injustice universe with Grodd and Flash, both of which are fantastic figures! It got me to go back and play through the game again, really look at those designs and characters and think about which ones I'd like to see made as figures next! The design that has run ahead of them all is the Reverse Flash! I adore his design in the game, and while he is just a skin for Flash and not his only uniquely playable character he still had a very fun role in the story and I cannot stress enough just how much I love his design!
