Top 5 most wanted updated Transformers the Movie (1986) figures vol 4

As Legacy moves more and more into the alternate universe of the Transformers franchise (I'm here all day for the Armada updates!) it feels as though the fully definitive display of G1 Transformers has been forming up quite nicely. It is to the point that this list is less of a "most wanted" and more of a "what's left" for Hasbro to update from the original 1986 The Transformers film! We've gotten A LOT since the last time I looked into this movie, with all the Dinobots finally immortalized in Leader class glory, Blaster, Perceptor, and Blitzwing checked off for a while now, and even a Coronation version of Starscream being released. But what does that leave for Hasbro to give us from that iconic film? Not much, and these five points will count down my excitement level for each remaining character!

5. Quintesson Executioner
Something I wasn't expecting from the last few years was how well the Quintesson species has been filled out from what we saw on screen in the original film! The iconic Quintesson Judges were so cool to finally get as proper action figures, and then after that we got not only Sharkticons, but Allicons too, and the Quintesson Bailiff and Prosecutor as nice surprises! Truly, the only member of the Qunitesson court from this movie we're still waiting to get in action figure form would be the executioner, who would have been a perfect piece to complete the exclusive Pit of Judgement set we got years ago!

4. Windcharger
Windcharger admittedly is not one of my favorites of the mini-bots, but he is becoming one of the last we need to finish out that subgroup, and he did make a very brief appearance in the 1986 film, even if it was just as a corpse. Killed unceremoniously off screen alongside his comrade Wheeljack, I wonder if in time we would get a two-pack of "battle damaged" versions of those two similar to our recent multi-pack of "dead" Ironhide and Prowl.

3. Battle Damaged Ratchet and Brawn

We've gotten a lot of "Battle damaged" Transformers figures over the past couple years, starting with a legit dead Optimus Prime figure from his dying moments, and continuing with the Ironhide and Prowl two-pack that came out last year. There's heavy rumors that it is going to be followed by a "battle-damaged" Ratchet and Brawn two-pack and I'm all for it to finish out the traumatizing scene in which so many iconic Autobots were gunned down.

2. Ramhorn and Steeljaw
Hasbro blazed through Soundwave's minions, and have even filled us out with other characters' minions like Doubledealer; however, Blaster's collection of cassettes are a group we're still missing quite a few of in the line. We've gotten Eject and Rewind, but arguably the coolest two of his followers are still MIA. Ramhorn and Steeljaw both have very unique robot forms, transforming into a rhino and lion, respectively, and would be perfect for additional core class releases in Studio Series following Rumble and Frenzy.

1.  Devastator
I had gotten used to thinking that the time for Devastator had passed after the Titan class version of the Constructicons that came out years ago. And then Studio Series pumped out their Bayverse Constructicons, followed by G1 jumping back into the game with a near perfect iteration of Menasor! I've got a good feeling that more updates to the G1 combiner teams are on the horizon and Devastator is one I cannot wait for with him being my all-time favorite! The Titan class version had a really nice combined mode but paled terribly when it came to the individual robots, so here's hoping that a full overhaul is coming in the future to give us true definitive versions of the G1 Constructions! Especially now that we have all five Dinobots for him to go up against!
