Top 5 wanted Yolopark Transformers AMK model kits
Catching my eye lately has been Yolopark's line of AMK Transformers figures. Model kits in the softest sense of the term, their AMK series of figures has several levels of price points and series (AMK Pro, AMK Pro X) but all come as essentially glorified build-a-figures that hold together well, have superb detail and articulation, as well as accessory count! The Red series from Hasbro was a great idea that didn't pan out as well as it had the potential to; however, Yolopark has now cornered the market on exactly what non-transforming Transformers figures can be! Working their way through several movies and G1 at this point, hopes are high for this company to continue pushing out stellar Transformers figures, and as always I have my hopes of what will be released in the future!
5. Lockdown
While stellar with detail, the Studio Series rendition of Lockdown was kibble-ridden which betrayed his onscreen CGI model which was very slim, agile, and perfect for a Yolopark non-transforming model kit that can accurately capture all of his details, accessories, and articulation to pump out a great affordable Lockdown.4. Sideswipe
One of my all time favorite live action Autobots is undoubtedly Sideswipe, the slick swordsman who debuted in the second film. I quite enjoy his Studio Series offering, and hope for an eventual Masterpiece rendition, but in the meanwhile I can add to my hopes a Yolopark model kit if the line ever starts delving into those original three films. His slim profile, the lack of kibble on his roller blades, and the promise of posing capabilities to pull off agile poses like the one seen above is why I hope Yolopark tackles this design at some point.3. ROTB Nightbird, Airazor, Wheeljack
Yolopark's Rise of the Beasts line up has fleshed out a healthy portion of the film which garnered them their initial popularity amongst collectors. Wave to wave we have seen constant improvements, with the latest releases like Apelinq and the hopefully soon to be solicitated Mirage both looking like two of the best in the line so far. There are three in particular I hope to see soon to further round out the movie's cast, that being the deadly Nightbird who deserves an accurate release that both captures her slim profile and includes BOTH of her swords, as well as Airazor who is the sole member of the Maximals not released in the AMK format thus far. She would finish out the team, and also be an interesting case such as Apelinq where we'd see a bot mode that never appeared on film. The third figure I'm including here is Wheeljack, one of the two primary Autobots not yet released in the line. The Studio Series release lacked in terms of accessories and correct door-wing orientation, where a Yolopark release could remedy that.
2. Sentinel Prime
The Voyager class Sentinel Prime we got from Studio Series years ago did the trick at the time, but as the time passes I find myself wishing more and more for a Masterpiece release, or that Studio Series had released a leader class version to include all necessary accessories and increased engineering. As possibly the best antagonist of the live action film series, Sentinel Prime was a fantastic final foe for the original trilogy, and a Yolopark AMK release that includes his rust gun, sword, shield, and all the articulation and detailing that we've come to expect from Yolopark would be a boon for Transformers collectors.1. Dropkick
The line has already promoted several AMK prototypes for the Bumblebee movie, namely Shockwave, Soundwave, and Starscream from the fan-favorite Cybetron sequence. They look stellar, and while more characters from that Cybertron sequence would be more than welcome by Yolopark I have to say that a triple-changer form Dropkick is my biggest hope from that film. Studio Series knocked it out of the park when it came to Dropkick's car mode; however, that form only appeared for one seen only whereas his triple changer form was one Studio Series dropped the ball on as one of the few misses in the line. There've so far been no substitute for a really good Dropkick sporting his design for most of the film, and I hope that Yolopark touches on this awesome design at some point soon.
