Top 5 most wanted Jada Toys Scooby Doo figures

I've seen attempts at a Scooby Doo line over the years, but Jada Toys seems to have found the perfect balance and formula to bring these iconic characters to line on the shelf. Hyper articulated, plentiful with accessories, and most importantly of all there is a strong presence of the ghosts of the series. That is what is truly pulling me in, and Creeper and Mummy look to be solid first entries into the line's antagonistic cast, especially with the promise of accessories that allow for their unmasking scenes! The Mystery Inc members themselves will be packed as well, with alternate face portraits and matching accessories such as Shaggy and his snack box! Will this line looking to be off to a strong start, this list will accumulate my top 5 most wanted figures from Jada Toys' Scooby Doo line!

5. Scooby gang

The most obvious forthcoming figures in the line are going to be the rest of the Scooby gang themselves, with Shaggy showing a strong opening and subsequent waves promised to include at least one member of the crew each time. It would be great to get some of their alternate looks from the years into the line as well at some point, though we first have to get the rest of the primary cast, Scooby Doo himself especially!

4. Black Knight

The ghost that started it all! The Black Knight ghost was the premiere antagonist of the first ever episode of the show back in the 60s, giving it lasting impact and icon factor to the franchise. Mummy and Creeper were both strong starts, well known creatures, but I doubt it will be long before this walking suit of armor takes his rightful place in the toyline's line up.

3. Captain Cutler

The aesthetic of vintage deep sea diving equipment has always been something that I thought lent itself well to horror (ocean depths in general do) and Captain Cutler rightfully capitalized on that with his baggy wet suit and bulbous diving helmet. Throw in the fluorescent green effect, and the strands of loose seaweed adorned to his body, and it is the perfect recipe for a ocean themed Scooby ghost.

2. Charlie the Funland Robot

The episode of Scooby Doo that creeped me out the most as a child was the Funland episode featuring Charlie the robot. The desolate theme park, empty rides moving on their own, a mysterious figure moving at unnatural speeds in the background of the empty stalls, it all made for an unnerving atmosphere that whipped my child mind into an uncomfortable fright. That lands Charlie near the top spot of the list; however, the top ghost for my most wanted Jada Toys Scooby figures is one whose cackle is ingrained in the minds of fans of the show.

1. Space Kook

The maniacal wail of this ghost is something a lot of Scooby fans know well, as this ghost from the stars comes stomping through . The astronaut's suit with the domed helmet and skeleton visage in the center is a striking image, and one that I'd be excited to see Jada pull off, especially if they can somehow manage to adapt the flashing red lights of his helmet. With two ghosts projected to be released in every wave of the line that gives us lots of ghosts quickly, 10 in total by the time we've completed the main cast (one Mystery Inc member a wave) and so my fingers are crossed that in that time Space Kook will be amongst the assembled.
