Top 5 most wanted Beast Wars Neo figures
5. Hydra
The pure ease of making this character has me wondering why it hasn't happened yet. Of all the Terrorsaur repaints we've received in the line so far, Hydra would be one that introduces a brand new character into the line up and brings with him a vibrant purple and red color scheme that screams on the shelf.
4. Big Convoy unit
There are plenty of Autobot/Maximal/Cybertrons cast line up that have to be put together (we've had scant progress towards this with Tazmanian Kid from Beast Wars 2 and Speed Breaker from Car Robots). The crew of Neo were an entertaining lot as ever, with their animal forms owning up to some potential very cool modern day action figures. The likes of penguins, giraffes, and even tanookis are represented amongst these bot!3. Crazybolt and Bazooka (repaint of JP dilophosaurus?)
One of my favorite pairs of one off bots from the series would be Crazybolt and Bazooka, as well as the shocker ending of their episode where they're seemingly freeze-frame annihilated! Crazybolt seems to already have 90% of his tooling in existence with the Dilophosaurus Transformers from the second Jurassic Park crossover set, and then Bazooka is an Ankylosaurus which being one of my top favorite dinos of all time instantly shot him to one of my most wanted.2. Magmatron unit
Speaking of dinosaurs and my love for them, having the primary group of antagonists ALL be different dinosaurs was a dream. Each and every one of these villains from the series I would happily take in figure form to add to the display, especially with Magmatron looking mighty lonely. I would not even mind if they finally pursued the Made-to-Order route that Marvel Legends has been utilizing, and gave fans a one time chance to buy this more obscure team in one swoop!
5. Blentrons
Some of the most insane designs of the series come from these three. Soldiers of Unicron whose alternate modes mash together two differing creatures (not unlike Silverbolt and Quickstrike from the original Beast Wars), and the results are some of the most terrifying villains that the series had seen. Any of these three would make for amazing action figures in the modern age, and the growing presence of Japanese characters in the toyline gives me hope.
