Following up on my post I had made about the top Cobra figures I wanted made in Hasbro's GI Joe Classified toyline, I am now focusing solely on the Joe side of things. The heroes of the story who battle Cobra day in and day out, each with their own special abilities and training, their own themes, and potentials to be some of the coolest figures in the line!
5. Ambush
Ambush has me excited for his accessory options more than anything. A poncho and a whole tent set up for his camouflaged stake outs are all a must, and with Doc coming with a whole stretcher at the standard price point I hope that means that Ambush would be do-able with all that at the standard price point too. We've already seen camouflage materials introduced into the line by way of the Action Marine - Sniper, so the pieces are already coming together for an Ambush release!
4. Grand Slam and Flash
The original 13 in the GI Joe verse are quickly coming together with many of them released in the past year. At this point there are only two more characters from this original group that need to be made, that being Grand Slam and Flash. While a lot of these original characters aren't as interesting or flashy as the later characters that became popular, their importance to Joe legacy is undoubted and one more two pack could give us the full line up to round out the crew.
3. Deep Six
Another Joe who would be a welcome addition to the line would be Deep Six, one of the underwater combatants on the Joe side who would fit in nicely with the Eels we've gotten as well as Torpedo! This guy I can definitely see being released as a deluxe figure due to the size of his suit; however, the sculpting detail that the team could put into his design is something I'm really looking forward to seeing in 6 inch scale! And no doubt he would be quite unique on the shelf.
2. Countdown
We've seen the GI Joe Classified toyline delve into a lot of different tundras of warfare from desert to sea to snow, but space is the final frontier and Countdown would be such a fun figure to get in the roster! An astronaut themed GI Joe is easily one of their coolest concepts and with the line diving deeper and deeper into more obscure characters it is a ripe time to bring up one of their most unique.
1. Sneak Peek
Yet another obscure character the line should bring to the forefront is Sneak Peek. The colors of his design would make him more of a standout amongst the crowd and his zany accessory is the perfect kind of load out that the GI Joe Classified line excels at producing. While the Cobra troops will always be very cool, the Joes all standout in their own ways and with Sneak Peek and all those mentioned above I think they would all make for smash hit releases in 2026!
