The latest Disney+ Star Wars show has wrapped up and Ahsoka has added another epic chapter to the Disney Star Wars universe. We got what is essentially another season of Rebels, one of the best animated shows from the universe, and it was epic seeing so many of those characters in live action for the first time! Not only that, but we were introduced to plenty of great new characters as well such as Baylan and Shin, and Hasbro's Black Series line has done a fantastic job of really filling out the cast of the series so far! Even still, there are some major characters that Hasbro hasn't touched upon yet, and in this list I'll be counting down my top 5 most wanted figures from the Ahsoka series!
5. Ahsoka (Padawan, white robes)
Being the star of the show I'm expecting that we will get plenty more Ahsoka figures just like we've gotten like four Obi Wan figures from the Obi Wan show and multiple Cassians and Boba Fetts. Aside from her main look, which is a repainted rerelease of her figure from The Mandalorian, Ahsoka's white robes from the latter half of the season are an obvious choice for a figure representation of the series, as well as her live action Padawan look from one of the best episodes of the show!
4. Thrawn
Seeing Grand Admiral Thrawn in live action for the first time was absolutely awesome and really helped tie things even further into Rebels and make the show effectively season 5 of that series! Even in his older age Thrawn still comes across as domineering, someone not to mess with, and with so many other villains from the series already accomplished in the Black Series so far we certainly need their commanding officer to lead them.
3. Night troopers and Night Death troopers
Speaking of villains, that topic will cover the next couple slots, and new Stormtroopers are ALWAYS very valid and needed additions to the line whenever we see a new variant appear in a television show. We still need a couple from the most recent season of The Mandalorian, but as soon as I saw the Night troopers appear on screen for Ahsoka it was another Trooper that I hope are coming to the line sooner rather than later. The dirty, broken armor that has red wrappings holding it together it places are a great chance for the line to flex its paint and sculpt budget, and could extend that to the Night Death troopers too! Not only do they look cool, but they became actual zombie troopers, and it's one of the coolest things I've seen in Star Wars ever!
2. Captain Enoch
We can't have the Night trooper lesions though without their commanding officer, that being Captain Enoch who has one of the wildest Stormtrooper designs when it comes to that gold-plated faceplate! We're missing so many villain figures from those final episodes of the show, and so many are prime opportunities for Black Series action figure representation! I love the gold plated accents through the figure, and hope to see more of him in the future!
1. Ezra
For the top slot on my list I'm jumping back to the hero side of things for one of the best characters in the show! We got an Ezra figure already, though it was based on a hologram in the beginning of the show that was also more based on his final look in the Star Wars Rebels show which is great but now we need an Ezra from the show itself! The beard and the robes really elevated his down-to-Earth vibe and his wholesome connection to the Force when compared to his more city-boy and armored look from Rebels. Just like with Thrawn and Enoch, it seems like we'll be seeing more of Ezra in the future, and continued appearances hopefully guarantee a figure in the future!
