Top 5 next most wanted Star Wars the Black Series female figures
Unlike many other toylines, Hasbro's Star Wars The Black Series line has never really skewed away from putting out action figures based on female characters, and at times there have been waves predominantly made up of female characters! Since I last took a look at what female characters from the Star Wars universe I wanted most in the line we've gotten many ranging from Mandalorian's Armorer to more Leias and another Padme, as well as prequel Jedi such as the above pictured Shaak Ti and Luminara! Star Wars has always been a franchise with a strong sense for writing powerful female characters, and I've drawn up another post with my next most wanted female characters in the line!
Honorable Mention: More Padme
With the Theed jumpsuit version of Padme we got last year we finally got another figure of this iconic protagonist in the Black Series line, and representation from her important role in Phantom Menace. There are so many more designs and looks for this character across the saga that I want to see made in the future, and with Revenge of the Sith seeing a celebration anniversary this year a Mustafar version would be welcome.5. Ahsoka (Disney+ flashbacks)
The Ahsoka series has seen a litany of support from the Black Series line and Hasbro, fleshing out so many of the characters and designs from the show with the two most recent reveals for the line being Anakin and Rex based on the epic flashback episode of the show. Keeping with that series of flashbacks, a figure based on Ahsoka's live action teen debut would pair perfectly with the Anakin and Rex on the way, really nicely rounding out the cast of that flashback episode.4. Qi'ra
Solo has not seen a new release in years and to my knowledge I don't believe it has has any figures even released in the new packaging style. I personally really enjoyed this prequel flick; it was very fun and had so many great characters, with Qi'ra being one who desperately needs a new figure. The one we got is great but it based on her Corellia appearance at the start of the film, meaning that all these years later we still do not have the primary female character of the movie in her design seen throughout the brunt of the movie/climax!3. Yaddle
The recent flood of prequel Jedi has been invigorating and these next two slots will be based around that group. The Phantom Menace Jedi council is one that hasn't been seeing as much love as the Attack of the Clones/Revenge of the Sith Jedi council, but Yaddle is easily one of the most notable of the group that fans would love to see debuted in the Black Series line! She's always been really memorable for being of the same species as Yoda.2. Barris Offee
Introduced as Luminara's Padawan in Attack of the Clones, Barris' story ended up taking her down a dark path with her turning against the Jedi and her friend Ahsoka, leading to tense confrontations in Clone Wars' later seasons. Barris' popularity definitely spiked after becoming a story focus, and her addition to the Black Series line would be great to go along with her previous master Luminara who is coming out this year!1. Zam Wesell
Zam is one of the most well known bounty hunters in the Star Wars universe given that one of the first action sequences we're treated to in Attack of the Clones features her as the aggravating factor. I love her purple and silver jumpsuit, and a play feature to swap out her faces between her alien visage and human disguise would be most welcome and breathe a lot of life into the figure. Droids and Jedi from the prequels have been receiving a heavy amount of love in Black Series lately, as well as secondary characters such as Sebulba and I hope that follows suit for one of the most iconic secondary characters from Attack of the Clones.
