The makers of the Transformers card game, Wizards of the Coast, have made it evident that the various Transformers toylines over the years will serve as a basis for a lot of the waves that we get in the game. With that said, I've already seen that in play with Siege being a big focus for the past two waves, and Combiner Wars being a source for the second wave of the game. I'm looking back at Combiner Wars again though to see what characters are remaining that could be given character cards for the first time, and these are the top 5 characters I found! Wizards of the Coast, while discussing their Transformers card game, have said that the generations line of Transformers figures would be a big source of characters when it came to future waves. So with that in mind, I'm looking back at the original start of what was called the "generations" line of Transformers action figures with the 2010/2011 line up of Transformers that kicked off the yearly line we know now. After a bit of a hiatus the CW's Crisis on Infinite Earths event has returned to screens with the final two episodes airing back to back last night! It was a really crazy ride from start to finish, and the finale of the whole thing definitely shook up the CW Arrowverse in a big way that will surely impact a lot of the storytelling going forward! There were also a fair bit more of cameos, including a huge one that no one could have guessed was coming! The second and final wave of Siege themed cards in the Transformers card game from Wizards of the Coast came out recently, and while we got a ton of the characters from the toyline there ended being a hand full who didn't make it into the wave. While I don't except another Siege themed line again, I would still love for these characters to make an appearance at some point in the card game. So with wave 5 of the card game teased, and the game seemingly not slowing down at all, here is my second list of top 5 Siege toyline characters I want in the Transformers card game! As of now, only one female ranger has been released in the Lightning Collection for Hasbro's Power Rangers line, and it is Kimberly, the Pink ranger from the original Mighty Morphin show. From as far as I can tell, the figure has been a smash hit and sells out very well compared to many of the other figures in the line, proving that female figures can sell just as well, and I think Hasbro should give us plenty more female characters in the line! With that short rant over, I hope that Kimberly's success as a figure prompts more pink rangers from the line, and here are the five I want to see most! With the start of the new year, McFarlane has given us the reveal of their DC line of figures! I think they look really good, I know there are the people who aren't really into them but I think they look like a big upgrade from what Mattel was giving us before and I'm very excited for the future of this line! The first wave of reveals comes out this month, so no waiting around for them, and hopefully that means there will be a lot more figures coming this year with more to show at toyfair! Every corner of the DC universe is being touched upon with this line, and here I'll be focusing on the top 5 DC comic book character I want in McFarlane's DC Multiverse line! I was a huge fan of the DCEU from its inception with Man of Steel, and while the films definitely took a bit of a dive in terms of quality with Suicide Squad and Justice League, the series seems to be reinvigorated since then and I'm so excited for the future of the DC universe! Alongside it, the toys of this franchise have been a bit rocky in terms of execution. There is no constant Marvel Legends like the MCU has, the both Movie Masters offerings for Man of Steel, and Mattel's offerings for the other films weren't quite what I was hoping for for modern day action figures. The DC films line, while expensive, seems like a viable option for getting movie figures; however, that line died.
