  (Images Source) The Commander Class in Hasbro's Transformers line has been one of the coolest scale prices in recent years, being introduced in the first year of the War for Cybertron line with a fantastic rendition of G1 Jetfire, followed by a perfect Sky Linx, and from then for a while it has mostly been a way to really flesh out the designs of characters who come with big trailers. Rodimus Prime is probably one of the best Transformers figure ever made, Motormaster rounded out the Stunticons well, Armada Optimus is literally one of my favorite figures to ever be made, and the upcoming Magmatron is a welcome return to plain old bigger bots in the scale line; not to mention that he looks epic! Studio Series has also finally jumped into the Commander Class game as well, with Ultra Magnus putting itself on par with the Masterpiece figure! My Hero Academia is probably my favorite modern anime that has been coming out, and the figures that have been produced for this line so far have been spectacular! Especially with Mcfarlane's My Hero line seemingly cancelled, it is fantastic to see another line of figures based on the show flourishing, and at a much higher caliber of quality as well (I would hope so for the price!). Superb articulation, myriad of effect pieces and accessories, these offerings are packed to the brim to make them the best My Hero Academia figures we could be getting! This year is looking to bring lots of fan favorite characters such as Shigaraki, Dabi, and Ochaco, but as always my eye is on the horizon and the potential for what else we may one day get! (Banner Image Source)   (Following Images Source) A recent announcement by Mcfarlane about a clever way to keep the Batman Retro line fully stocked with upcoming figures has been to introduce the New Adventures of Batman series into the line so that there are now two classic shows that are being pulled from. I have no idea this show even existed before this wave of figures was announced, but at only around 16 episodes in total I went through the show in all of its cheesy, vintage, children's show glory. While not the pinacle of what Batman tv can be, it was plenty entertaining for when it came out, with some fun designs for many classic characters that can greatly go beyond the line up we have so far! Honorable mention: Zarbor To start off with an honorable mention: Zarbor is from the same dimension as Bat-Mite, yet much more malicious in his attempts at evil whereas Bat-Mite was a lovable, comedic foil for the dynamic duo in the series. (Image Source) 2023 is the year that I really got into S.H.Figuarts lines. I always knew of the company and lines that it released, but always thought it was a bit too expensive for me. However, in this year I started to dip into the line which touts some of the best action figures I now collect. Their Naruto line has reignited my childhood love of growing up with that series, their Berserk line perfectly complements how I've been reading the series for the past two years, and there are assortments across all their lines that I find myself drawn to; especially as a big anime fan! 2024 looks to be a big year for the line with lots of fantastic releases that I'm looking forward to. (Image Source) Seeing Tamashii Nations start up a Demon Slayer S.H. Figuarts line was one of the most exciting announcement I saw in 2023 for the company, and their first few offerings of Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Giyu look fantastic! While none have released quite yet, with three reveals so far it is clear that S.H. is going all in on this line, and I'm all here for it! The three characters we are getting so far are a great way to start building out this universe, and these next five characters are the top figures I hope to get in the line sooner rather than later! 5. The recent tease at Jump Festa that we will be getting new Akatsuki action figures in the revived Naruto S.H.Figuarts line has me extremely excited! This group of characters are some of the absolute coolest antagonists that the series touted, and since the line has restarted there have been several that I've been hoping to add into the display sooner rather than later! We don't yet know who the first member of this legendary team will be to be added into the line, though we do know that they will be utilizing fabric cloaks when they come! With 2023 about to leave us in the rearview, and 2024 coming upon us, I've got my thoughts and projections about what we'll see in the widely varied DC Multiverse line from Mcfarlane. This year brought a lot of very cool focuses and sets such as Flashpoint, waves based on live action Batman films from years past, and surprises like Black Lightning, Animal Man, and Waverider!
