(Images Source) Sonic the Hedgehog 3 taking the top spot on my list of favorite 2024 movies should tell you all you need to know about what I thought of the incredible conclusion to Sonic's first movie trilogy. It was a hilarious and emotional delight from start to finish, with Shadow the Hedgehog one of the sickest film characters of the year to debut, and Gerald and Ivo stealing every single scene they appeared in. The film also gave us a lot of what I was hoping to see between Shadow's videogame accurate backstory, the results of Jim Carrey's retirement handled (he came out of retirement!), and we kind of got the Chao by way of the Japanese restaurant. SPOILERS ahead for the post credit scene at the end of the film, which also gifted us with the live action debuts of both Metal Sonic and Amy setting up what is sure to be an incredible fourth entry in the series by 2027. (Images Source) The first trailer for the upcoming Superman film has generated a lot of hype and intrigue for the first entry into the new DC film universe. I for one cannot wait to see what is in store for the rebooted film series, with the first trailer giving us a glimpse at an extremely comic accurate take on DC comics as we've come to expect with James Gunn's comic book projects. From the first trailer alone we've seen looks at several of the principles characters and their designs, with the expectation being that Mcfarlane will no doubt supplement the movie with DC Multiverse figures of his own. And with that expectation, these are currently my top 5 most wanted DC Multiverse figures based on the upcoming 2025 Superman film.  5. (Banner Images Source)   (Following Images Source) With the boom of prequel figures we are seeing in Hasbro's Star Wars Black Series line that comes with several new Revenge of the Sith based designs and characters finally seeing their 6 inch figure debut. Between last year and this year we are seeing several new Jedi Council members added to the line such as Ki Adi Mundi and Shaak Ti, as well as a prequel-era Palpatine with the Sidious we received last year, along with the Magna Guard being added to the line. With these all released or awaiting release that checks off a few Revenge of the Sith figures I was most hoping for, and with 2025 kicking off hot as the lava pits on Mustafar I have put together a new list compiling my most wanted Revenge of the Sith figures! I finally got around to watching the show for myself and loved it (and hope to see a sequel from Disney similar to X-Men '97), so I've got my picks primed for the top 5 Marvel Legends figures I want based off of Spiderman The Animated Series! Honorable mention: Madame Web This is a character I'm surprised that Marvel Legends hasn't made in any form given her importance and iconic nature to the Spiderman mythos. With season 5 of the Multiversus videogame right around the corner and more characters set to debut I wanted to talk about a couple random ideas I had for season themes, the characters that it could bring, as well as several characters I'm really hoping to see added to the game at some point! It was a ton of fun with great battles, cool character designs, and after all these years I'm fully ready to jump into the Tamashii Nations S.H.Figuarts line as opposed to just window shopping and cherry picking what I thought looked cool based on appearance.
