With season 5 of the Multiversus videogame right around the corner and more characters set to debut I wanted to talk about a couple random ideas I had for season themes, the characters that it could bring, as well as several characters I'm really hoping to see added to the game at some point! Pretty much all of these will be new properties to the game which I think are always the most exciting characters to see added, and without further ado, let's get started!

Who Let the Dogs Out - Courage and Scooby Doo
It strikes me every time I think about how the Scooby Doo franchise is part of the videogame with two different characters at launch but the title character of that series isn't included! He could even have some kind of gimmick like Jerry or B-MO to have Scrappy join the fray with him. Another character that could contribute to a dog-themed season would be the massively popular Courage the Cowardly Dog, one of my all time favorite Cartoon Network shows and whose voice actor I actually met one year at Galaxycon and he was so nice.
Magic and Witchcraft - Harry Potter and Wicked Witch
Harry Potter is no doubt one of Warner Bros most popular and iconic franchises so the titular character's continued absence from the game is a peculiar one, especially as his barrage of spells could add a lot of fun and unique color and patterns to his attack style. Not to mention that the multiple films give him plenty of alternate looks that could be used as skins. Another magic based character will be the Wicked Witch of Oz who I am very surprised we did not see included in season 4 as it was during a time that Wicked was huge in theaters AND the Wicked Witch made her debut in the Multiversus comic by DC. Seemed like it would have been a no brainer to bring her into the videogame at that point for media tie-in.
Kaiju Rumble - Godzilla and King Kong
As it stands Iron Giant is still the only jumbo sized character that we have in the line; however, I think that could be easily rectified by bringing in these two titans of the Kaiju genre. Both Godzilla and Kong have been making headlines in recent films and news, with another outing fast on the way, and both having numerous looks across the years that would make for great skins in game.
Mad Scientists - Dexter and Pinky and the Brain
How long has it been at this point that Dexter's Laboratory has been a map in the game without the character to back it up? The Powerpuff Girls quickly turned around and joined the game after their map was introduced but we are still waiting on the squat scientist himself to arrive. Another pair of scientists that would be a great theme together would be Pinky and the Brain, and very classic Warner Bros duo whose music would be insane to hear put through Multiversus' great remixed music takes.
Triple Threats - Ed, Edd, and Eddy and Animaniacs
With the Powerpuff Girls we saw an expansion on the Tom and Jerry idea with three characters all rolled into one, with a playstyle that while complicated did turn out great. I want to see more of this applied to characters associated with a group, such as the hilarious and iconic Ed boys! The different moves that could be applied to each Ed boy based on their personality is genius, and another trio from Warner Bros would be the Animaniacs. A lot of players are requesting them with the Warner Bros tower map featuring the water tower these three famously spring from, and I feel like it has been a long time coming for more classic Warner Bros animation to be added to the game!
