Top 5 wanted Marvel Legends Spiderman The Animated Series figures
Spiderman The Animated Series has enjoyed quite the wealth of figures in Hasbro's Marvel Legends line and it seems like it has no intention of slowing down after recent releases and reveals such as the long awaited Chameleon! I finally got around to watching the show for myself and loved it (and hope to see a sequel from Disney similar to X-Men '97), so I've got my picks primed for the top 5 Marvel Legends figures I want based off of Spiderman The Animated Series!
Honorable mention: Madame Web
This is a character I'm surprised that Marvel Legends hasn't made in any form given her importance and iconic nature to the Spiderman mythos. While she would not be very active in terms of an action figures, she would be a splendid centerpiece to any Spiderverse display with her striking red and white costume, as well as her throne.5. Easy Repaints: Kingpin, Punisher, Shocker
This slot I'm dedicating to some of the easy repaints for the line. Kingpin was a central figure throughout the series and the mold matching his design exists in the line, it just has to be painted with the show accurate colors, namely the purple ascot. Punisher had multiple appearances in the show as well sporting a brighter blue than we've seen on most Punishers, and the Shocker with his maroons, yellows, and red stripe up his arms is a necessary addition to get closer to a finished Insidious Six.4. Blade
A principle figure throughout a lot of the Morbius arc ended up being the vampire hunter Blade, another great cameo appearance from other heroes in the Marvel universe, and one who would be very welcome in the line. He would have been a splendid pack-in figure with the Morbius two-pack, but alas, here's hoping he'll get added to the line down the road.3. Mysterio
I spoke of finishing the Insidious Six earlier, and Mysterio was another member of the original line up that will be needed. He sports a more nuanced design specific to the show with his belt and gauntlets, and I do like the way his cape pools up around his globe a lot.2. Man-Spider
These next two slots are the ones from the show I'd love to have in the line most going forward. Peter's Man-Spider transformation was one of the most insane parts of the series as we saw him genetically transform into a true monster, moving past his simple multi-armed design in order to become a true monster of his nightmares. With the recent advances to make six-armed Marvel Legends even more posable than ever, the time is right for Man-Spider to make his Marvel Legends debut.1. Spider-Carnage
The final foe of the series was Spider-Carnage, an absolutely sick design that headlined one of the best arcs in the whole show. I absolutely love his suit design and the way the red symbiote tendrils wrap around his body, as well as the way the sider logo hugs his torso. For such an important part of the series it deserves to be given an action figure release in the show's line
