Top 5 most wanted Star Wars Black Series aliens

I've talked before about how droids are an important part of the Star Wars world, but arguable aliens are even more so as they are even more abundant in every scene and storyline. Aliens are all over the place in Star Wars, they're in the cantinas, in the Pod races, the diners, the streets, the halls, they are all over the place and can't be missed. And just like the droids, aliens are criminally underrepresented in the Black Series line; however, that seems to be changing as of recently with figures like Moloch, Rio, Gammorean Guard, and Zuckuss coming out in a short span of each other. Hopefully this is not just a one time occurrence and aliens truly are being given the limelight in the Black Series like they deserve. Of course, with this possibility there are a few I'm itching to see.

5. Hammerhead
Since I was a little kid I've always loved the hammerhead alien from the cantina. It has a unique, stand out design that just pops in my opinion, with spindly fingers, massive feet, and a huge, curving head that is true to the nickname. The 3.75 inch figure was one that I always remember playing with, and now I'm waiting for it to pop up in six inch.

4. Ephant Mon
Another 3.75 inch figure I had as a child that I'm now waiting to get in 6 inch form, and the recent revelation of a new "deluxe" line of larger Black Series figures seems to be making it more of a possibility. Just thinking about the paint and sculpting work that would go into Ephant Mon makes me want to see the figure more and more, and the long, gaping mouth and exceedingly unique design would surely make it a must have and testament to Black Series' accomplishments.

3. Garindan Spy

This is a character I've talked about before, and I'm talking about it again because Black Series still hasn't given it to us. In the movie the Garindan didn't have a whole lot of screen time, but in the Lego game he was provided as the final boss in one of the levels and since I played a lot of Lego Star Wars as a child the spy was a character I had a lot of exposure to. The long snoot and squeaking always gave him a personality apart from other aliens, and his role in the movie portrayed how the Empire would deal with street scum in order to get what they wanted. This is just added lore to a cool looking character which makes me want it even more.

2. Amanaman

Another figure that I've talked about figure, Amanaman is a freaky looking alien who I first came to know about through an old figure magazine that my dad had. It wasn't until later that I saw him in the actual movie, but just the image of this strange green, gangly snake man holding a staff with skulls on it was enough to get me hooked. And since Black Series began I've been twiddling my thumbs waiting to shell out the money to get a figure of this alien.

1. Jedi

Kit Fisto, Aayla Secura, Shaak Ti, Plo Koon, Ki Adi Mundi, Saesee Tinn, all of them, every Jedi, I want them all. Jedi are awesome, alien Jedi are even cooler, and this is a group of individual, creative alien designs that all stand out from one another. Not only that, but it gives us more Jedi figures which are low in number, it gives us several female characters which the line is also lacking in, and it lets Black Series stretch its sculpting muscles with the unique look that each of these aliens possess. This group would check off so many boxes that Black Series has hardly touched, so hopefully it is sooner rather than later that they start to appear down the road.
