Marvel's first couple offerings in their new Disney plus MCU tv shows have been well accepted by fans, and the Marvel Legends toyline seems to be keeping up quite well with an entire wave of figures nearly rounding out the needed new figures of those first two shows! From my previous list talking about my most wanted figures based on these new shows, we've now gotten John Walker (two variations in fact), Zemo, Loki, Sam Wilson, and Bucky! So I'm circling back around to talk about my most wanted MCU Disney plus figures vol 2! We've gotten a lot of looks at the upcoming shows, and I couldn't be more excited, with a lot of slots on this list coming from yet to be aired pieces. The Rebirth era Action Comics series has for sure been one of the funnest comic lines I've read in a long time, trailing only behind Superman and Flash's Rebirth runs. I loved seeing this new Superman interacting with the world and all of the new stories appearing in front of us, with some pretty major ones sticking out as some of my favorite Superman stories in a long time! While I know a lot of people weren't happy with the New 52 era of DC comics, I think there are some really greats series and storylines to be gleamed from this experimental era. The Justice League series was one of the best in my opinion, giving us an iconic first adventure for this new age, and closing out on a massive, mind blowing finale arc. The Star Wars Black Series line has absolutely been alive with renditions of Luke Skywalker in the past couple of years. It feels like we've been getting a new Luke at every turn and as one of the most popular characters in the entire franchise that makes sense, and is very welcome by fans who are buying up every outfit of Luke's that we're being given! The Falcon and the Winter Soldier just wrapped up its awesome first season and with the conclusion we got a great assortment of figures that really helped to fill out the roster of the show. We got Bucky, Zemo, both versions of John Walker, and Sam in his amazing Captain America uniform. There's no way to describe the new Invincible tv show on Amazon prime other than saying anyone who hasn't seen it should see it immediately. I was jaw dropping and amazing throughout, the purposeful, alarming graphic violence and a really engaging storyline. Having read the comic series it is based on it has me overjoyed to see the series adapted so successfully to a tv show, and even more so to see Diamond Select taking on the reigns of action figure production! So far they're making Invincible himself along with Omni-Man, both of which look great, and with the show already confirmed for two more seasons I hope the toyline lasts long as well! These are my personal top 5 picks for what Invincible figures I hope to get next based on the show! Following the original Justice League movie the next film we got from DC Comics was the Aquaman movie which I actually really enjoyed. It was colorful, fun, and was a major right step for DC in my eyes. It had some of the best villains in the series up to that point, not to mention tremendous action and a huge battle scene at the end that wasn't unlike the scale of Avengers Endgame's final throwdown. Mcfarlane Toys haven't jumped onto the movie figures as much as I'd like them to have at this point, but hopefully with the slew of Justice League figures they're releasing soon they will follow that up with going back and catching up on movie figures from the past. So from the Aquaman film, these would be my top 5 most wanted figures!
