Top 5 most wanted Mcfarlane DC Multiverse figures based on the New 52 Justice League series

While I know a lot of people weren't happy with the New 52 era of DC comics, I think there are some really greats series and storylines to be gleamed from this experimental era. The Justice League series was one of the best in my opinion, giving us an iconic first adventure for this new age, and closing out on a massive, mind blowing finale arc. I'm here to talk toys though, namely the figures from this series Mcfarlane could adapt in their DC comics toyline. These are my top 5 most wanted Mcfarlane DC figures from New 52's Justice League.

5. Justice League
I'm going to start off this list with a very obvious choice, and while I know the Rebirth era costumes have been getting represented lately I hope that the New 52 Justice League gets to shine again soon. I love the Superman design with the collar, and black S on the back, not to mention Cyborg becoming part of the Justice League, we're still due for a classic looking Woman Woman in the line, and later members like Lex Luthor in his battle suit and Jessica Cruz as Power Ring would make amazing figures.

4. Ocean Master
Throne of Atlantis was one of my personal favorite storylines from the series, and an iconic one I know a lot of other fans recognize as well. The feud between Atlantis and the land was played out perfectly, with Ocean Master being a fantastic villain who had character depth as deep as the sea he came from. Ocean Master in general deserves a great figure as a character who hasn't had a lot in the past, which is a shame with his cool mask, and great purple/silver color scheme.

3. Darkseid and Grail

Doubling up for this slot is the first and last villain the Justice League fought in this series, alongside his daughter who turned out to be a great addition to the Apokalips roster of villains. The Origin arc of the Justice League fighting off Darkseid's invasion has become one of the most iconic Justice League stories of the past few years, and the villain was brought back for the incredible Darkseid War arc. Both designs of Darkseid have been done before in figure form by DC Collectibles, but I'm excited to see Mcfarlane hopefully do their take on a truly massive Darkseid as well. Grail as well would be really cool to get a new figure of, as she was for sure one of the stand out new characters of the series.

2. Anti Monitor
When Forever Evil ended with the reveal of the New 52's Anti Monitor, I was blown away and this lead into the Darkseid War which I've already stated I loved. Anti Monitor, for as major of a villain as he is, hasn't had a plentiful life in plastic form. Aside from the old DCUC collect and connect figure there is practically nothing, which is a shame, and while a truly in scale Anti Monitor isn't something truly achievable I think just getting a figure of one of the most famous DC villain's of all time is long past due for a renewal.

1. Crime Syndicate
I've talked about this team plenty of times before on this blog, and I'm talking about them again. When Trinity War ended with the Crime Syndicate embarking on their mission to take over the planet, I was overjoyed to see this supervillain team truly become a threat suitable for an evil Justice League, and through Forever Evil storyline, as well as the Forever Heroes volume of the Justice League series we got to see the damage this team wrought. The Crime Syndicate's trinity also got to star in the Darkseid War as well, and out of every team in the DC universe, I hope this is the one we get to put together next.
