Top 5 most wanted Mcfarlane DC Multiverse figures based on Rebirth's Action Comics series
The Rebirth era Action Comics series has for sure been one of the funnest comic lines I've read in a long time, trailing only behind Superman and Flash's Rebirth runs. I loved seeing this new Superman interacting with the world and all of the new stories appearing in front of us, with some pretty major ones sticking out as some of my favorite Superman stories in a long time! So with having finished up a lot of the Rebirth run of Action Comics that has come out so far, here are my top 5 most wanted action figures from the series for Mcfarlane to make!

Starting off with Doomsday with a huge gamble and I think it paid off in a great way! The action was tremendous, the stakes were high as the battle kept going and going, not to mention seeing Superman and Lex working together to fight the beast was a real treat! Doomsday stands as one of the most famous Superman villains of all time, and this opening act for the series only solidified how popular this foe still is! With Mcfarlane's new Deluxe line introduced, now is as perfect as ever for him to make Doomsday.
In case anyone somehow hasn't read the Oz Effect storyline yet I will refrain from revealing who Oz exactly is, but I have to say that alongside the Superman Reborn storyline, this has to be one of my favorite all time Rebirth Superman stories! Clark's faith in humanity was truly tested, as well as his own beliefs about his past, with Oz emerging as a mysterious orchestrater who has been present and manipulating events for a long, long time in Clark's life!
Following the Amazo Virus and Darkseid War storylines, it was interesting to see Lex continue with his heroic journey, donning his own Superman themed armor and taking to the skies of Metropolis! I loved reading through his rivalry with the new Superman, his distrust of him, and his revelation of wearing the Superman shielf out of the memory of the Superman who believed in him (The New 52 iteration). While a lot of that dynamic was lost when pre-Flashpoint Clark became the main universe Clark, I still greatly enjoyed Lex's roles in the story, and I think we're much past due for a Mcfarlane Lex Luthor!
Putting together a lot of characters for this one, I absolutely loved the arc within the series of Hank Henshaw piecing together an entire team of Superman villains to go up against not only Superman but his entire roster of family members and sidekicks! Lead by the reborn Cyborg Superman, we had the returns of Eradicator, Mongul, Blanque, Metallo, and an incredible role with General Zod! Seeing all of these villains together and how things turned out made for a thrilling read, and I hope to soon build out a lot of these characters soon in the line!
Just like my post talking about my most wanted Rebirth era Superman comic figures, Clark himself is taking the top spot! I truly love this iteration of Superman and watching him interact with his family and the world around him! His suit is also the best I've seen from Superman in my opinion, and Mcfarlane already has the perfect mold to utilize! The Infected Superman figure is a fantastic figure, and the following Bizarro would used that mold further proves how it is one of the best Superman sculpts from the company. With Bizarro they also now have the Rebirth belt piece, meaning the new pieces needed to make Rebirth Superman would be minimal! Here's hoping that soon we get one of my favorite eras of Superman immortalized in plastic form from Mcfarlane!
