Top 5 most wanted Jakks Pacific Sonic the Hedgehog figures vol 2
Honorable mention: Big the cat
This is a character I'm sorely hoping to see sooner rather than later in the line; however, by the way things are going he made end up being made significantly out of scale similar to Eggman. I love Big, and while I do want a new figure of him from Jakks Pacific I know it will be very odd looking if he is the same size as Sonic and the others, worrying me for when he one day joins the line.
5. Ray the Flying Squirrel
A much smaller time character in the Sonic cast, Jakks Pacific have already shown that this character is on their radar by producing a plush based on him! With Mighty in the line already, getting Ray would round out the core trio from the SegaSonic arcade game, and add a pretty obscure character to the display by their current character selection standards.
4. Vector the Crocodile and Charmy Bee
Knuckles is one we've had in the line from the start, and since then we've gotten Mighty like previously mentioned, and Espio coming on the horizon in the EggRobo wave presented at WonderCon. Things are shaping up nicely for a Knuckles' Chaotix display and at this point we're only missing Vector and Charmy! Not only would they finish out that team, but they would also provide Espio's teammates for "Team Chaotix" from the Sonic Heroes game!
3. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (movie): Super Sonic and Chaos Eggman
The second live action Sonic movie was an absolute blast and the characters truly seem to be given justice on the big screen! Jakks Pacific's first wave of movie figures checked off all the primary characters from the movie, and their Sonic 3 pack provided a lot of Sonic's fun alternate outfits from the flick; however, there are two major designs we haven't gotten yet! Both are spoiler heavy for the movie which is why I can understand not having them out yet, but given that the movie has been out for a while makes me hope we'll soon see live action figure versions of Super Sonic (which we've already gotten a 2.5inch version of) and Chaos powered Eggman soon!
2. Mecha-Sonic mark 2
The trio of big time Sonic robots in the franchise has nearly been rounded out! Metal Sonic's popularity was a no brainer for how quickly we got him in the line, and getting the classic Mecha Sonic was a ton of fun! Jumping ahead to "Sonic and Knuckles" we were given a taller, slender, more imposing Sonic mech called Mecha Sonic mark 2 who acted as one of the big bosses of the game! With EggRobo being added to the line, hopefully the focus on "Sonic and Knuckles" keeps up to give us this deadly mech as well! They even have easy repaint potential for this bot's "Super Sonic" mode.
1. Cream the Rabbit
The 2.5inch line of figures have given us a couple different variations of the Chao at this point, so we have Cheese, we just need Cream to complete the duo! While this character is more known for her sweetness and not her proclivity for battle like a lot of the other characters, she still ranks among my favorite characters from the cast. She'd also do nicely to add another female character to the line as we're currently only sitting with Amy and the recently released Rouge!
