Most wanted Star Wars: A New Hope Black Series figures vol 2

A list of characters from the original Star Wars movie that needs to be made into figures for the Black Series line continues to shrink, and with Wedge, Ceremony Luke, and the Cantina Band now a full fledged reality in 6 inch form I'm bringing to the table 5 more of my most wanted figures from the movie that started it all!

5. Admiral Motti

This is easily the the figure that would take the least effort from Hasbro to put out, and with them having released so many other Imperial officers over the past couple of years I'm almost surprised that this guy hasn't made the cut! Motti is infamous for being the Imperial Officer Vader chokes out, and we've got plenty of Vader in the line, now we need someone for him to Force choke!

4. Death Star Gunner

We have a lot of Imperial uniform sculpts that could be re-used for this character, but it is the headsculpt that would really pull it all together in the end. That oblong, sleek helmet is instantly recognizable as a Death Star stable, and I wouldn't mind another army builder that isn't a clone or a stormtrooper!

3. Death Star Droid

Keeping in the Death Star for another slot on the list, the Black Series seems to be giving love to droids a lot more lately than in the past which I am all for! Droids are one of the staples for the franchise in my eyes and I'll always take more of them, especially when they're bug eyed and freaky looking! They could even pack it with a Mouse Droid to get that sculpt back into the line again!

2. Hammerhead (and other cantina patrons)
Slowly but surely we are working towards putting together a nice little cantina display. We got Ponda Baba and Dr. Evazen, and now the entirety of the Bith band that jazzes the place up! What comes next has to be a lot of those random patrons, many of whom were my favorites as a kid! The Hammerhead alien was my personal pick from the whole lot, and the one whose 3.75 inch figure found its way into a lot of my childhood imaginary Star Wars adventures!

1. Garindan spy

Another alien to add to the collection would have to be the Garindan spy! The one responsible for ratting out the presence of Luke and the others to the Imperials in Mos Eisley, this character had a significant, though short, role in the story which is more than can be said for a lot of the other cool looking aliens who have been made in the line already. With his bug-like snoot and dark cloak I wouldn't hesitate one bit putting down my money for this guy!
